After winning million fans as the protagonist, Maanvi, in Star Plus’ hit show Ek Hazaaro Mein Meri Behena Hai, the pretty and vivacious Niaa Sharma went missing from the screen.And now, she is coming back with a new show. She will anchor the finale episode of MTV Webbed, being produced by Lost Boy Productions and Balaji Telefilms. It is based on cyber crime and the final episode will air on 15 December 2013. Actors like Veebha Anand, Vrinda Dawda and Chestha Bhagat will be seen in the finale episode.Confirming the report, Niaa said, “Yes, I have already shot for the final episode and it was super fun shooting after a while now. I got opportunity to showcase my hosting skills after a long time. I did anchor a bit during my school days. In daily soaps, you have to enact a character but here I have to be myself. I always wanted to be a part of a youth show and I am happy to host MTV Webbed.”Talking about anchoring whether she would like to do more in the same field or concentrate more on acting, Niaa said, “Yes, I would love to. But according to me, hosting business is male dominated in Indian television. The way men can mimic or crack any kind of joke, it connects with viewers. It doesn’t mean female can’t do it but daily soaps are female oriented and anchoring is male dominated.”Indeed, good news for her fans!

Ekta Kapoor’s long running TV show Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV has been grabbing attention post the big-fat generation leap. Ankita Lokhande, the protagonist is now seen playing double role and the storyline has been shifted to a completely new block. In the coming episodes, Ankita (Ankita Lokhande) will be seen taking a major decision of her life. To bring out her family from the financial crisis, she will get herself ready to marry her boss Naren (Karan Mehra), who suffers from a mental ailment. She sacrifies her life to make her siblings financially stable. According to the sources, “Archana's mother-in-law, Savita tai (Usha Nadkarni) and mother Sulochana (Savita Prabhune) will be seen inviting characters from various shows on the channel to attend the wedding. The wedding will be aired in an hour-and-a-half long shaadi-special maha episode, which is currently being shot.”Popular characters like, Zoya (Surbhi Jyoti) and Tanveer (Amrapali Gupta) of Qubool Hai Rachana (Mahima Makwana) of Sapne Suhaane Ladakpan Ke and Shivani (Mansi Shrivastava) of Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se, will join the wedding bash and will see dancing at the sangeet ceremony.Sources added, “Kamla (Shilpa Shirodkar) and Vitthal (Mohit Dagga) of Ek Mutthi Asmaan, Shail (Vaishnavi Mahant) and Seema (Alka Mogha) of Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, Farhaan ( Vishal Nayak), Nikhat (Archana Taide) and Haseena (Nishi Singh) of Qubool Hai, Shruti (Gautami Kapoor) and Sanjay (Manav Gohil) of Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi will also be seen blessing the couple.”The drama in the wedding will toll high when Naren gets one of his occasional fits and this creates quite a stir among the guests. We have seen actors like Dev Patel, Freida Pinto, Anil Kapoor and Irrfan Khan make a name for themselves in Hollywood films, and even Madhavan has bagged Night Of The Living Dead: Origins, produced by Simon West of Con Air and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider fame. It is a remake of 1968 zombie film Night Of The Living Dead.

But according to Shilpa Shetty, who will again judge couple dance reality show, the new season is about romance and passion and has no vulgar content. The show will launch on November 9 and will air every Saturdays and Sundays. The actress said, “You are misunderstanding the whole concept. When we talk about passion, it does not mean vulgar. Passion is a part of every marriage, every relationship and romance. If you remove romance, there is no fun.”The 38-year-old was speaking on Friday at the launch of the show's new season, where she was accompanied by her co-judges director Sajid Khan and choreographer Terence Lewis.Sajid Khan said, Nach Baliye 6 promises dance infused with a lot of romance and passion. “There will be romance through dance, they will be marked on the basis of their dance, the audiences will vote looking at their dance. It's not Valentine's Day special. Romance is a theme, but it is a dance show,” said Sajid.The celebrity couples participating in the new season are - Gurmeet Chaudhary-Debina Bannerjee, Kanika Maheshwari-Ankur Ghai, Amrapali Gupta-Yash Sinha, Raju Srivastav-Shikha, Kiku Sharda-Priyanka, Ripudaman Handa-Shivangi, Ridhi Dogra-Raqesh Bapat, Lata Sabharwal-Sanjeev Seth, Rithvik Dhanjani-Asha Negi, Bruna Abdullah-Omar Farooque and Vinod Thakur-Raksha.

Latest buzz from Tellyworld has that actor Ankit Gera has cheated on his girlfriend Adaa Khan with his co-star in Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, Roopal Tyagi, who plays Ankit’s wife in the show. With this, Ankit and Adaa’s two-year relationship as come to an end.Needless to say that Adaa is extremely hurt with the betrayal as he had promised marriage to her, and she even went against her family for Ankit. The truth came out when Roopal admitted to Adaa of her fling with Ankit.Sources close to the former couple says "Trouble started brewing when Ankit started demanding space in the relationship. He even attended Roopal's birthday party a month ago, alone. While he told Roopal that he had split with Adaa, he assured the latter that he was not on talking terms with Roopal. Adaa bumped into Roopal at a recent award function and decided to clear the air. To her shock, Roopal admitted to the affair. On the occasion of 76th Birthday of Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar and 24th anniversary of Hridaynath Arts, Amitabh Bachchan was felicitated to commemorate 71st birthday of Amitabh Bachchan and 71 years of music career of Bharatratna Lata Mangeshkar.Sudesh Bhosale, Siddhant Bhosale, Shaan, Sadhana Sargam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Mahalakshmi Iyer, Vibhavari Apte and a host of singers sang on the occasion, and Harish Bhimani was at his best, not minding the sweltering heat minus ac. Recently buzz had that Rajkummar Rao was ousted from upcoming film NH10, as actress and co-producer Anushka Sharma was not happy with him being the leading hero. For those unaware, Anushka is co-producing the action thriller with Phantom Films.Meanwhile, clearing the air regarding Anushka’s interference, Rao, 29, said that the decision to leave the project was mutual, and Anushka has nothing to do with this.  "I never signed NH 10 officially. I was supposed to do it. Then it got delayed. Then I moved on to other films like Kai Po Che and Shahid. Then I started working on another film. I can't do two films at the same time. I prefer doing one film at a time," said Rajkummar."So it was a mutual decision. I share a very good relation with the team. I think Anushka is also a very sensible girl. She is a really good actor and I don't think she will do anything like that," he added. It is said that it was Anushka’s call to replace Rajkummar with actor Neil Bhoopalam, who is currently seen in Anil Kapoor's 24.However, Rao says he has no issues with Anushka at all. Post her traditional Indian style avatar, Pooja Gor, better known as Pratigya of Star Plus’ hit show Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya, says she is looking for an image makeover. She has also done reality show The Serial, just to widen up her horizons in the acting field.Speaking about her plans, “I want to try out different characters and sequences to test my own caliber and strength as an actor,” said Pooja, who also appeared on Imagine TV’s Kitani Mohabbaat Hai. She has been roped in to play lead character in Bindaas channel’s unusual love stories based youth show Yeh Hai Aashiqui, hosted by Vikrant Massey.Pooja will essay role of Charulata, a woman who tries to find happiness outside her marriage, in the episodic. The story is based on Rabindranath Tagore's novel, Nastanirh and Pooja will be seen as a traditional Bengali woman.About her character and show, Pooja said, “Honestly, I took up the episode in Yeh Hai Aashiqui because it has a complete Bengal flavour to it. I am fond of Bengali culture. I am glad the way it has turned out. I am very happy with the way I look.”The particular episode will air this week on Bindaas!
