Let me start admitting here about Naked Harbour (Vousaari) not being an Artsy film at all. To some point, the film surely follows the lines and impact of Alejandro González Iñárritu's Babel (2007) and Paul Haggis Crash (2004). Aku Louhimies Naked Harbour features an interesting yet strong emotional theme of intersecting characters and plot-lines.The film follows inside-out look of 8 stories and their characters who is an American visiting the city on business, A junkie couple struggling to pay off a thug, A 16 year old girl who will go to any length for fame, a bullied Russian immigrant boy, a couple whose marriage is falling apart, a schoolboy whose only friend is his dog, A father who projects his body issues onto his teenage son, and a young single mother undergoing chemotherapy.Every character is undergoing some form of problems and non-acceptance in his/her life.  And at times the film is genuinely heart-breaking, particularly the story-lines dealing with children.The only story which was not convincing enough according to me was of the American who is on a business tour in the city. Yes there is a heavy amount of sex in the film but it's dealt in a convincing way. All the stories and performances in the film are outstanding. The story that really hit me to tears was about the Mother-Daughter relationship where the mother is undergoing chemotherapy, The 16 year old girl who wants just one shot to fame and the schoolboy and his only best friend which is a Dog.Prolific Film maker Aku Louhimies has extracted wonderful performances from all the actors and have presented a film that questions your inner soul at times. The Background Score, Production Values, Camera Work and Editing rises the top position while you are watching this beautiful journey of Finland and its people.Naked Harbour (Vuosaari) is not a film that should be missed. The film is surely a film that will make you discuss on a longer period of time even after you have left the auditorium. Two Thumbs Up for this Aku Louhimies masterpiece!

If buzz has to be believed, filmmaker Prabhu Deva has roped in London-born Scarlett Wilson for an item song for his upcoming movie R...Rajkumar, which will feature Sonu Sood along with her. The model-turned-actress earlier grooved in item number Imported Kamariya in Emraan Hashmi-Kalki Koechlin starrer Shanghai. She also gyrated to Naagin Naagin song in comedy flick Bajatey Raho. Both songs worked well at music charts and were liked by music buffs.Now, latest report says Scarlett will also shake her leg in Prabhu Deva’s action-thriller R…Rajkumar that features Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles. If everything goes correct, the film’s villain Sonu Sood will be seen dancing on the item song with Wilson.  Scarlett has shot for a day for the item number. According to the sources, “After the untimely demise of Shrihari, who features in a pivotal role in the movie there is a break in the shoot of the song. Apparently, Shrihari was also a part of the song and shot for it a day before he passed away. Sonu Sood and Scarlett will gyrate when the shooting resumes this Thursday.”Let’s see if Scarlett’s presence will work in favour of the film or not. The film is releasing on December 6.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is one such actor who has high regard for his female actresses, and it was only few months’ back that he announced that his name would be preceded by his heroine's name in his films. And it started with Deepika Padukone, with whom he starred in Chennai Express.On his part, SRK feels that the decision was no big deal. He was speaking at NDTV-Vedanta's Our Girls, Our Pride fundraising telethon. As a believer in ‘ladies first’, SRK didn’t think that it was that big a gesture. He said, "I don't think it's a huge gesture. When I started out, I had some really wonderful ladies like Madhuri, Juhi and Sridevi helping me out with my work and as the years passed they started giving me star status and it became very embarrassing. So I decided to put my name at the end and the lady's before mine."SRK was speaking to telethon co-hosts Priyanka Chopra and Vikram Chandra via satellite from Dubai. He was also upset with the fact that in India female foeticide still exists. "It is an extremely unfortunate thought process. A child is a child and I don't think any woman or boy is better than the other. Each person has his or her own circumstances and education. Finally after a lot dilly dallying for almost a year to hold a concert in Dubai, the busiest star of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan has announced his World Tour premiering. Access to All-SRK Live in Concert has been kick started from December 1 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.SRK along with Madhuri Dixit, Jacqueline Fernandez, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Meiyang Chang, Neeti Mohan and Deepika Padukone have started to enthrall global audience. Before the event Shah Rukh Khan said, “I have wanted to do a big, all-encompassing live show for a long time. It will be a highly interactive experience for the viewers.” Khan is giving UAE fans an opportunity to experience a live concert concept and audiences can request the songs they want the stars to dance to. While shooting his next movie Happy New Year in Dubai, SRK held this second press conference in the span of three days to reveal his tour plans. “The audience can tell us what songs they want to see and hear through audience polls, newspapers, radio events that will start soon. We want it to be interactive, so some people who win events can come backstage and meet the artists and see what goes into making a live show. They will realise it’s not all fun and games and they will have access to some of the excitement that goes on behind the scenes,” he added.Earlier SRK did shows at Australia and New Zealand.

A follower of Swami Vivekananda's philosophy and practicer of meditation every day, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut says she is a spiritual person also who believes in prays and God. She recently visited iconic Babulnath temple and seek blessings for her upcoming film Krrish 3.“Yes I am a spiritual person, where I believe in the power that runs the universe, but have a more scientific approach. I follow Swami Vivekananda's philosophy in which the highest form of worshipping God is meditation, little lower is mala and lower than that is moorti puja. I believe in both, meditation and moorti puja. My dadi is very religious. While I meditate every day, she does her puja,” said Kangana.Expressing what a temple means to her, Kangana said, “Any religious place has that vibe and a calming effect due to the sounds of the bells. Being a celebrity it's not the same anymore, but when I was younger, I would go to a temple and just sit in a corner. In my early years in Mumbai, I would often go to the Juhu Iskcon temple and the Mukteshwar temple diagonally opposite to it.”Kangana also believes in fasting and said she used to keep fast when she was eight. “My mother used to keep navratras when I was young. I would follow her and keep them when I was eight years old. But I would often break it by eating a biscuit and then feel disheartened, as I would come to know later that a biscuit was not allowed to be eaten while fasting. This year again, I felt like fasting during navratras but could keep it only for six days, as I had to shoot and had started feeling a little weak, so did not want to take a chance,” concluded Kangana.We appreciate your thoughts Kangana!

But according to Shilpa Shetty, who will again judge couple dance reality show, the new season is about romance and passion and has no vulgar content. The show will launch on November 9 and will air every Saturdays and Sundays. The actress said, “You are misunderstanding the whole concept. When we talk about passion, it does not mean vulgar. Passion is a part of every marriage, every relationship and romance. If you remove romance, there is no fun.”The 38-year-old was speaking on Friday at the launch of the show's new season, where she was accompanied by her co-judges director Sajid Khan and choreographer Terence Lewis.Sajid Khan said, Nach Baliye 6 promises dance infused with a lot of romance and passion. “There will be romance through dance, they will be marked on the basis of their dance, the audiences will vote looking at their dance. It's not Valentine's Day special. Sajid Nadiadwala has roped in the talented actor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, of Gangs of Wasseypur fame, for his upcoming film with Salman Khan, Kick. For the first time, Nawaz would play a powerful role in a out and out commercial film, Kick.There were news that floated media few months back about Randeep Hooda being signed on to play an important role in the movie Kick which is a remake of telugu money-spinner of the same name. The Telugu version had Ravi Tejaa, Ileana and Shaam in the lead roles. The film is about a man (Ravi Tejaa) who robs corrupt politician and business tycoons for the pleasure of his Kick, and a strict no nonsense police officer (Shaam) is assigned to nab him.It is reported that Sajid was keen to cast someone who will be able to perform dramatically. While details are kept under wrap on his character as it's suppose to be surprise but insiders say it's very powerful. According to the original version, only two characters are important in the whole film. The Con-Man and the Cop.Nawazuddin read the script and feel in love with the character. It is also the first time that Nawaz will be working with Sajid Nadiadwala as well as Salman Khan. Ghalib Danger revolves around the life of its main protagonist Kamran Ali. A young taxi driver by profession, Kamran stays in Mumbai and dreams of making it big someday. However a twist of fate awaited him as on an eventful day his life transforms when he saves the life of a notorious underworld don from called Mirza. As an act of gratitude, Mirza takes Kamran under his tutelage.Speaking of his book, the celebrated film writer-director and now author says, ‘Writing has always been a passion and when the story of Kamran and his world took shape in my mind, I knew that only a book would do full justice to it. Even though her film Besharam, which was her first film as the leading lady, didn’t work well at the box-office, the pretty lass Pallavi Sharda is keeping her chin-up, and is proud of her work. Despite coming from Australia, this Indian-origin girl took the task to fit in the role of Delhi-Punjabi girl in the film helmed by Abhinav Singh Kashyap. "I think I always wanted to play different characters. This is what I have done in my life. I am happy to oscillate between an urban city girl and 'desi' girl," she says.You may know that she debuted in Bollywood playing a small-town girl in Manoj Bajpai’s Dus Tola, and then went on to star in films like My Name Is Khan and Love Breakups Zindagi. "In any case I do come from an Indian family. I thought it would be a great challenge to be seen as this 'desi' girl." Glad to work with Ranbir Kapoor in her first leading role, she said, "Ranbir is such an amazing person. He is supportive, generous, gives a lot of space and understands that there is a lot of work done through team work," she gushes, "I had no hesitation about how he would be as a co-actor. He is a brilliant actor and always on the top of the game. That was a further challenge for me only to pull myself up. Also, Abhinav was always there to push me into delivering my best. I think Ranbir doesn't come across as a superstar that he is. He is just a hard working actor. Speculations were rife of late that Kareena Kapoor Khan was set to get paired up with her Bodyguard co-star Salman Khan yet again for one of the most awaited films, to be directed by Sooraj Barjatya.With the movie, Salman is coming back with Sooraj Barjatya after the gap of 14 years, as they last worked together in Hum Saath Saath Hain. Earlier reports said that actresses from Diana Penty, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, Parineeti Chopra to Ileana D’Cruz were approached for the role.And latest the sources claimed Salman has recommended his co-star of films like Mr. and Mrs. Khanna, Kyunki, and Bodyguard for the movie. It was also said that she has already been signed for the same, however, the further reports from sources has that the rumours are not true at all."There is no truth in it. We have not finalised anyone yet. Lot of speculation is happening over who the heroine will be but we are yet to finalise things. In a month's time, we would decide," sources said. The makers are yet to set the title of the film, which would go on the floors in June next year. The shooting might take place in Mumbai, Gujarat and Rajasthan.
