Yota Devices is a smart phone phone company, based in Russia that is making waves in the cell phone community with their innovations in smart phone hardware. The yotaphone was released last year in asia and europe and quickly made a name for itself by offering not only staple specs we have come to expect, but also innovation for the screen. Its front screen operates as anyone would guess, so the real area the phone stands out in is shown when flipped over. The back screen is a low-power e-ink display that in the phones first incarnation was mainly used for display and lacked touchscreen capabilities. Now, however, in the yotaphones upcoming successor: the screen has made the jump to a full touch panel, allowing it be used to answer calls, receive and dismiss notifications and be used to play games that don't require the flashy capabilities of the front screen. This kind of innovation in cellphone technology is of paramount importance and the biggest step forward since the original iphone. The potential is amazing, allowing for new software to utilize the second screen, and making cellphones even more accessible and useful to the smartphone community.

This article is about Apple increasing the size of the iPhone screen and making the screen bezel-free. Both Samsung and Apple are working on a similar prototype but Samsung is using a more standard fingerprint scanner. As the Source said in this article, to have the possibility to scan your finger on the whole screen still has many technological barriers to over come.

The new generation of the ever so popular HTC One is coming. Photos, specs and release dates have been leaked. The M8, (Second HTC One) has been rumored of having a new screen, with on screen controls, more power, a new second camera for stabilization, and the ever so loved HTC One design, and speakers. Personally, i love the new on screen buttons as it gives you more screen space without increasing the size of the device, and allows the screen to be in the center when watching content in landscape.

Apple's soon to come iPhone 6 is rumoured to have a larger display, which according to analyst Brian Marshall of ISI Group, could encourage many users to upgrade in 2014. Marshall suggests that Apple may release two versions of the phone, one with a 5.5 inch screen and one with a 4.7 inch screen. With a larger screen, the iPhone 6 may attract people who switched from iphone to android because of the larger screen, to come back to iPhones. A higher demand for an iPhone may happen because of this redesign plus the Touch ID fingerprint sensor on the iPhone 5s. I personally, would switch to iPhone if I was using a Samsung Galaxy, because the large screen would now be on the iPhone, but it would still also depend on the price of this new phone.

Recently, there have been a lot of passcode exploits, especially on the iPhone and Samsun Galaxy. On the iPhone, it can allow the attacker to access their way into the Phone app, letting them place calls, see/edit contacts, and access photos via the "assign new picture" option. On the Samsung Galaxy, the attacker can flash whatever was open before the phone was locked for a second. This is enough time to launch an app, which can be repeatedly downloaded and completely unlock your phone. The article suggests the user of the phone should download the Apple's Find my iPhone app or Prey, which can track the location of your smartphone if it is ever lost or stolen. This, they say is the best protection for your personal information stored on your phone. These passcode exploits can let one worry and doubt how much protection the lock screen actually provides. The truth is they are no more secure than any other password or PIN, which means they can eventually be cracked. However, it is still suggested to always lock your screen, just in case it is robbed by someone who does not know anything about getting around locked screens. Many companies are aware of the issues and is releasing new techniques, like the iOS 6.1.3. Hopefully, with time, these password problems will not be an issue anymore.

This is an app where you can make the weather look much better on your screen which is available on iTunes.Not only does it show you the temperature or weather outside but it also shows you the hours of sun, temperature a the chance of precipitation.  You can click on one of the bubble and it will have an enlarged view of the particular data  with more details.  An example of this would be : tapping on a temperature bubble and shows high-low feel of temperature as well as wind speed and direction.  Each of the three screens show you a five-day forecast for each of the three metrics across the top. Phones are a very big thing in today's society.  A phone is almost similar to a computer, except that it fits into your pockets.  Phones can almost do anything, from calling, to social networking, to playing games, and watching movies.   Every phone user knows how precious their phone is to them, especially when it's the highly priced iPhone 5.  There are some negatives to phones however.  Of course, phones will need to be repaired every once in a while.  Unfortunately, the front glass, digitizer and LCD are all one component, which makes repair more expensive and harder.  However, there are some upsides!  A shattered screen is a very common problem for all Apple users, which is a really big positive.   This article proves that an iPhone 5 can be really financially beneficial for many consumers, because since it's easy to repair the screen, it makes it easier,  At the same time, it can be pretty costly, since everything else other (such as the LCD) than screen is still just as hard to replace.

The new OS; Windows 8, is bringing on a lot of excitement, but many people are not too happy with the changes made, myself included. Many people miss the desktop screen, and dislike the new start screen. Others don't like the tiled look and are more used to that of windows 7. There are many other problems and this article describes how to fix all of them. First of all, There is the desktop screen problem. Many of us used to place all our most used programs on our desktop screen so that when you log on, you will have quick access to all you needs, but now all of that is gone and replaced by the start screen. Fortunately, you can bring them back with Start8 (which is easier to use but costs $5) or Classic Shell (which is harder to use but is more customizable and is free). The cool thing about Classic Shell is that it can fix many other things, such as turning your windows explorer from a ribon-ified mess into a usable file browser. you can also fix this problem with Xplorer2. Another problem is that you cant view your videos without buying an attachment to windows media player, but you can fix this with free programs such as VLC There are many other peeves i n widnows 8 that this article helps solve. Have you ever had the urge to use a computer or phone late into the night? I know I have (many times). Well, the truth is that staring at the screen for a while on these devices can actually kill your sleep cycle. However, this article gives a couple of tips for those who want to avoid the eye pain from the brightness of the screen (the most obvious being to just dim the brightness more) and avoid that irregular sleep cycle we all face from time to time.

 IPhone 5 is a the new phone that everybody wants. However is it actually everything we expected? Many IPhone 5 users are talking about how they have been noticing their phones flickering. The first reports were as soon as the device was launched. The main thread for the issue is over 12 pages long with reports of flickering screens. When people began investigating they realized that this issues seems to most frequently occur when a user accesses the virtual keyboard in the App Store. Because the users don't see flickering each time they use it , it only affects the virtual keyboard which means it is a software issue. My personal opinion on this topic is that if Apple doesn't want to lose the rank they have they need to fix this!  

Today The Wii U came out, and even before that there are already positive posts about it. This Article talks about the Wii U's features, compares it to other consoles, and talks about Nintendo's future. The Wii U seems to have made quite an entrance, with many positive replies and it has been sold out everywhere in my area. Its main Qualities is amazing Multiplayer, as it has been designed to have fun with friends and family. Its new controller is also very interesting, as it has a built in touch screen. This is a big improvement as it allows for more control and eliminates screen picking as you can hide what you are doing and only see it on your controller. It also has completely free online interaction which puts it a step above the Xbox. As for its Hardware, it's processing is about 3 times as good as the Xbox' or PS3's and it also has a much improved graphics card. It also has its traditional motion sensor and controller, allowing for fun sword fighting and other motion controlled games. Overall, I recommend the Wii U for everyone, as it gives a lot of fun to yourself, and all your family/friends. It as an amazing console And will bring a lot o fun to your life.

With the thin, sleek design, the shiny screen, and the convenient touch screen, the iphone has grown to become one of the most wanted phones in our country. Behind the high-tech phones and tablets though there's a much more serious issue. Iphones are often created in factories in China that exploit their workers. Things like child labor and abuse are practiced often in these factories. However, this article didn't only bring up the issue of human rights violations, but also our role in it. In the past, companies like Nike have been forced to improve the quality and treatment in these factories after many people boycotted the brands once discovering the ethical issues in the production process. We have not let the exploitation of workers in China pass before, so why are we doing it now with these Apple products. Every time we lay down our money and pick up a new iphone or ipad, we are encouraging this type of production and becoming a part of it. Even our simple, silly complaints about the Apple products can make the conditions worse for those poor workers. They are forced to work even harder and longer, no matter how tired, underpaid and overworked they already are. Has it become important for us to own the best phone, that the rights and sufferings of other human beings no longer matters? Why are we not taking the action necessary to help those workers and send a clear message of opposition? Before, reading this article I also wanted an iphone. It's a great phone, very convenient and high-tech. Knowing the conditions these phones are made in though has started to really make me doubt what I used to consider an amazing phone. It's an ethical issue. Do I want this phone so badly that I'm willing to turn a blind eye to the places it came out of? On October 29 Google unveiled its new tablet the Nexus 10. This is Google's first 10 inch Nexus device and it runs on an Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Google's newest mobile system, also it comes with some new cutting edge hardware you ever seen in an Android tablet. Google has priced its new tablet at $399 to compete with the other new tablets such as Microsoft Surface, iPad 4th generation, and Kindle Fire HD. The Nexus 10 has a 2560 x 1600 pixel Super PLS display at 300ppi and has a denser display screen than other competitors. The Nexus 10 runs on an ARM Cortex-A15 processor and quad-core Mali T604 graphics processing unit. It has a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 1.9 megapixel front camera. The Nexus's new software has a new user account option that lets multiple users customize the tablet to their own needs without disrupting other users that may have access to it. The only bad thing it lacks the proper apps for a tablet that are available to Android. It is eLifestyle because a lot of people have been waiting for this new tablet and it's different than the latest tablets. It's portable computing because it runs on the new Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and Google's latest mobile system. Has a bigger screen and it will compete very well with the other companies.

The new iPad wasn't the most surprising outcome. I personally thought it would look way different. But, here are ways that could of made the iPad much surprising. Everyone want's long battery, so it could last for a while, nobody would want smudging on the screen, and of course nobody would want cracks on their screens.  Those are some examples that would impress the Apple customers.

Razer supplies a default set of button apps to start with, including a calculator button that turns the touch pad screen into a number pad, and YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Gmail launch buttons that launch videos and mail or news feeds into the smaller screen.

This article tells the readers about a new game app on the iPhone called "Life of George." This game involves building with lego blocks. The point of the game is to build the structure with lego pieces that shows up on the screen under a certain amount of time. It may seem easy but it is apparently difficult and designed for people ages 14 and up. You would also need this mat that acts as a green screen for the game. Once you are done building the structure you would lay it flat on the mat and take a clear photo of it. Then the game will rate how fast you completed, and how accurate it was built.

This changes everything. Now, instead of having to find a clean cloth or using your own shirt to clean your dirty iPhone's screen, you now have a portable microfibre cloth that you can use anywhere, anytime. Disney announced a new toy line that makes the iPad an interactive play mat. The new toy is called Disney Appmates, it interacts with a free app that brings it to life. Pixar's Cars are the first toys able to interact with this app. Each car includes a capacitive sensor. When it is placed on the iPad the screen adjusts to the position of the car, so it can interact with the character. With this app you'll be able to explore, compete in races and complete missions. What's great about the new toys: the toys aren't designed to scratch the screen and the toys are lightweight. With this app it has been proven that on April 2010 the iPad is now popular with kids as it is with adults. 

Everyone is familiar with the infamous Blue Screen of Death, right? Well, Windows 8 has revamped their ever so annoying alert. The error codes most commonly seen on computers when the feared Blue Screen appears are gone, replaced with a sad emoticon that still leaves you guessing what's wrong. It does tell you that the PC is rebooting, but not why. Still infuriating and rather pointless. :(

There is a certain joy in unboxing virtually any gadget for the first time, but Apple raised the event to an art form with its always stylish packaging. The Apple iPhone 4S box, though, doesn't mark any new style breakthroughs. Apple's signature white box is a doppelganger for the iPhone 4 packaging. Inside, the phone looks and feels like the previous iPhone 4. This gallery's comparison photos bear that out. Setup, though is a bit different, thanks to iOS 5. There's a large, gray-patterned "Welcome" screen and that motif carries through until you have the phone ready to go. Those of you who downloaded the mobile operating system on Oct. 12 and updated your older devices are probably already familiar with these screens.
