  •
Have you ever had the urge to use a computer or phone late into the night? I know I have (many times). Well, the truth is that staring at the screen for a while on these devices can actually kill your sleep cycle. However, this article gives a couple of tips for those who want to avoid the eye pain from the brightness of the screen (the most obvious being to just dim the brightness more) and avoid that irregular sleep cycle we all face from time to time.

This talks about apps you can download to your apple things or smartphones if you are interested in U.S. politics. Im not very interested in U.S. governments or politics but some people do so this can help them even when they are not in U..S. they dont have yo go to internet and look for it. Apps will do that for you and upgrade it. This shows that now you can know whats happening in other countries in just few seconds. That's how much technology has improved since before.

Silence Your iPhone with Do Not Disturb and iOS 6's New Phone Features [IOS 6] - 0 views

  •
The new iPhone IOS'6 update includes Do Not Disturb and VIP attributes that allow consumers to enable features that suit their personal needs. With the Do Not Disturb aspect you are able to customise your phone so that incoming calls are received while your device is locked; giving you the option of able to avoid the call or accept it, with just a "simple text." And a bunch of other features that are supposedly supposed to make your life easier. People who constantly use apple products would be more comfortable when upgrading their systems because they actually use these attributes. Although to the average teen, it seems pointless and contradictory. With the Do Not Disturb feature, if someone can access your password then, they could change your settings. Therefore you wouldn't receive any calls! Apple entices people to keep upgrading their systems because they are a cooperate business.

Inside the Brief Life and Untimely Death of Flappy Bird | Game|Life | Wired.com - 1 views

  •
The game Flappy Bird, created by Dong Nguyen was a rapid success. However it also followed with a rapid downfall. This article details how the game began to what it started as, an indie game created for a small nostalgic audience. It then grew to something way bigger. Dong was making more than $50,000 a week for his money. Flappy Bird was also number 1 on the app store for days straight, even then, Dong Nguyen was receiving death threats and rude remarks regarding his game. These threats and remarks kept happening so Dong was forced to remove his game off of the apple store. He is continuing to make other indie games though. Dong Nguyen said he will keep making games, and he wants to be a respected Indie game developer, not just another viral episode of the app store. Dong though, has been noticed by the indie developer that created Super Hexagon. I inferred, that a collaboration will happen between the developers. In my opinion I believe the cancellation of Flappy Bird was a publicity stunt to provide more coverage on Nguyen's other games.

This article is about the rise and fall of the once extremely popular and addictive mobile game, "Flappy Bird." For months, it was just another game that barely anybody downloaded or heard of just like the other games of indie developer, Dong Nguyen. The gameplay was simple yet very challenging and addictive, guide a bird through gaps in between 2 green pipes for as long as you can. As time went by Flappy Bird's popularity soared, and was the most popular app in the world. Many people's addiction to Flappy Bird went to the extreme, and at the same time, many others hated it with a passion even sending death threats to Nguyen. These factors prompted Nguyen to pull the plug on the game, a few days ago, claiming that it "ruined his simple life." In my opinion, Dong Nguyen didn't expect Flappy Bird to be a mega hit, and wasn't ready for the spotlight.

Self-Cleaning Cloth Keeps Your Shirts Bacteria-Free With Pure Sunlight Power - 0 views

  •
Researchers at the University of California at Davis have developed a new compound that is incorporated into your cotton clothes. When they are exposed into sunlight, it destroys bacteria and toxins. The compound is known as 2-anthraquinone carboxylic acid (2_AQC) and after an hour of exposure to the sun, produces reactive oxygen species that break down dangerous pesticides. While it wont lift stains, researchers hope to see it applied in healthcare, food processing, and even the military.

Nexus Prime Boot Animation - 1 views

  •
Although we'll have to wait a little while longer to get our hands on the alleged Samsung Nexus Prime, that hasn't stopped one YouTube user from showing us the not-so-mysterious device's boot animation running on a Droid Bionic. It isn't much, but for those patiently awaiting what Samsung has in store, every little bit of info is welcome. It's not like we don't know what the rumored Prime might look like, its rumored specs, and even what oft-leaked version of Android it'll come pre-loaded with. It can't be much longer until the Nexus Prime is officially announced, but until then, keep your eyes on TechnoBuffalo for all the latest.

RIM Offers Users Free Apps After BlackBerry Service Outage - 0 views

  •
Blackberry users are mad. And why shouldn't they be? RIM went down. RIM is what MAKES Blackberrys. The outage that lasted more than three days has now been resolved, and to make amends for it, RIM does not only apologize, but also offers 12 free apps. Woo hoo. But, there is also a month of free technical support. So, there is something to gain. Millions of customers worldwide were left without access to various apps, email, etc. Is this a big enough apology?
  •
After a BlackBerry service outage that lasted more than three days, RIM is trying to make fix their mistakes  by offering them a selection of premium apps for free, as well as one month of free technical support. The RIM service outage was the biggest one they have ever had, and alot of customers are starting to switch, but RIM ensures this will never happen again... yeah right...
  •
All Blackberry users including myself were all ticked off after the 3 day service outage. As an apology, RIM (company that makes Blackberrys) decided to offer 12 free apps for Blackberry users. (Bejeweled, Texas Hold'em Poker 2, Bubble Bash and Shazam Encore) On top of that RIM has given us one month of technical support. I admit that RIM is trying hard to get back on track but sadly this isn't going to keep customers from switching phones. :$

The Future of the Web Needs to Include the Past | Webmonkey | Wired.com - 0 views

  •
Although new web browsers are running much faster than they did a few years ago, web evangelist, John Allsopp, suggests people slow down their technology for a little while. He says there is still a large group of people who do not have advanced technology at home to keep up with these new ways. What he is basacally saying is that the advanced world should take a break and wait for everyone -- even those who have trouble affording it -- to survive.

well they just keep coming out with surprises don't they, Nokia just came out with a prototype of another smartphone, it is like any other smartphone, except that this one is flexible, how are they supposed to make a phone out of rubber or plastic or something. this may make it harder to break, but i wouldn't care about that, if I could I would just buy it to freak people out.
