LG made the first 55-inch OLED TV which , and it will cost $8,000. The timing jibes with what we heard at CES, but it's the first solid word we've heard as to what the future of beautiful television is going to cost us. Eight thousand. That's a lot of money-more money than most people have to spend on a TV, by a longshot. But it could've been a lot worse! Samsung's current top of the line 55-inch LCD TV runs around half that-and it's using old, old technology. OLED will be out of reach for almost everyone, but, like everything else, it'll slide cheaper, and cheaper in a (relative) hurry. Especially when LG, Samsung, and the rest realize nobody can afford this. It realtes to the course because its technology.

This article is about Apple increasing the size of the iPhone screen and making the screen bezel-free. Both Samsung and Apple are working on a similar prototype but Samsung is using a more standard fingerprint scanner. As the Source said in this article, to have the possibility to scan your finger on the whole screen still has many technological barriers to over come.

Introducing the all new BMW's very own M Performance sport steering wheel. This steering wheel offers a whole bunch of data and information while letting you concentrate on the road. What makes this steering wheel unique from other steering wheel is that high grip material and the small OLED display located 12 o'clock of the wheel. Within this small display it shows you many features of the car. For example, average fuel consumption, speed, oil and water temperature, lap times, G- force, and more. On each side of the display, there are LED's that glow and flashes to indicate the end of the current gear. So you do not have to look down at the dashboard to see your current RPM. There are also three readout modes: Efficient Dynamic, Sport, and Race. Depending of which mode is currently active, it gives you new information of the vehicle.  So you are probably all wondering the price of this wonderful steering wheel. The price is $1700. To me, I think it is worth it for those who wants to monitor their vehicle and see their lap times etc. The wheel looks absolutely gorgeous and it will attract many BMW customers. 

So the Mobile World Congress is just around the corner and Apple has chosen to stay out of it and have its own exclusive events. Apple has done this to make sure that way Apple news will not get lost in the flood of other announcements. So far Apple has not announced anything yet they do traditionally announce new phones at the WWDC in June. As for the actual iphone 6 Tim Cook confirmed while speaking with ABC that the iphone 6 is going to have a sapphire display by using the company's new Arizona plant. The sapphire display is pretty much just a clear screen. Which I find can be pretty cool but I'm sure it has its disadvantages. But the sapphire display is very strong and quite resistant to scratches so thats great. Though they have not announced very much about the iphone 6 it does sound promising.

This article is about how there was a shortage of the iPhone 5 being sold. Apple sold ''only'' 5 million iPone 5s the first weekend, and many people suspected the reason the number wasn't higher was a supply shortfall. The reason why they didn't have enough iPhone 5s ready was it's display, which uses new technology to make it thinner than ever. The in-cell touch panel tech is harder to produce, leaving people to believe Apple's display suppliers couldn't keep up with demand. When deliveries on pre-orders began to get pushed back several weeks, analysts suggested Apple's new in-cell technology was too difficult to produce in high quantities. 

Yahoo had just made a new app for weather which is catching to the eyes.  Everyone checks on their phone once in a while to see the weather and yahoo has one if not the prettiest app for weather.  With the help of photographers and the Flickr community, Yahoo! Weather screams simplicity. Just look at it.By pulling in your exact coordinates, the time of day and general weather conditions, Yahoo! Weather selects and displays an appropriate image taken in your town to match the forecast. So at night, you'll see night time shots and so on. And by scrolling up, you have access to an hourly forecast, five day forecast, the ever important "feels like," wind and pressure, chance of precipitation and it'll even tell you when the sun is rising and setting. There's also a map mode that offers a wider area of coverage in case you're traveling. Also, by turning your iPhone horizontal, the app goes into full display mode with just images from your city of choice.

It is about a group of people researching and creating a prototype of a refined hairline grooves of a peacock. The product was pretty much reflected with sunlight and was unaffected by viewing angles. It is used for people that use e-readers. They only have static images currently, but they are thinking about putting moving images on it. This is also made as a reflective display for e-reader users. Having an e-reader isnt really bad. It is portable meaning that you can take it outside with you and be able to use it, but also this article will help all the e-reader users because it will give them static images, and soon moving images. I dont see any negative things about having this device. On October 29 Google unveiled its new tablet the Nexus 10. This is Google's first 10 inch Nexus device and it runs on an Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Google's newest mobile system, also it comes with some new cutting edge hardware you ever seen in an Android tablet. Google has priced its new tablet at $399 to compete with the other new tablets such as Microsoft Surface, iPad 4th generation, and Kindle Fire HD. The Nexus 10 has a 2560 x 1600 pixel Super PLS display at 300ppi and has a denser display screen than other competitors. The Nexus 10 runs on an ARM Cortex-A15 processor and quad-core Mali T604 graphics processing unit. It has a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 1.9 megapixel front camera. The Nexus's new software has a new user account option that lets multiple users customize the tablet to their own needs without disrupting other users that may have access to it. The only bad thing it lacks the proper apps for a tablet that are available to Android. It is eLifestyle because a lot of people have been waiting for this new tablet and it's different than the latest tablets. It's portable computing because it runs on the new Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and Google's latest mobile system. Has a bigger screen and it will compete very well with the other companies.

This articles talks about how a computer security attacking program called Cross-site Scripting (XSS) is being more popular among hackers. As we know, ISC2O which is us, spend our classes on the computers each day. This scripting partially relates to what we do since we have already learned basics of HTML and CSS programming languages. Not to mention, we're leading up to learning about Java Script which is one example of a scripting language such as XSS. There are probably a few of us that have had our own computers attacked(hacked) or put our own secretive information has been put onto the web. Many of us use social networks and sometimes, we display some personal information which can be retrieved by others through using this program. In addition, when we buy different products online, we put out some credit card details that can also be stolen and potentially be used. In addition, the number of cyber attacks can still rise as the holidays come by and eCommerce will increase and can cause more attacks. This relates to Privacy and Security this has to do with social networking as information that's displayed can be stolen and any other personal information can be taken.

Many of us think of Apple as this giant in electronics. Over the past decade, Apple set the market for smartphones, ultrabooks, and tablets. However, in the past couple of years, Apple has begun to fall off. Rather than being the huge 'juggernaut,' Apple has become a follower, forced to play catch up to other companies including Google and Amazon. Evidence of this are tied to the recent releases of the Kindle Fire and the Nexus 7. Apple's response was the iPad Mini, when they realized consumers enjoyed smaller tablets. Before that was the iPhone 5, in response to people wanting larger phone displays. Apple Maps is a blunder that both iOS 6 users and Apple pays for. Apple was slow on the draw to join in on changes to the market specifications. Having controlled the market for the past decade with the popularization of smartphones, tablets, and retina display, Apple was simply unprepared to react to these changes. Apple still has their innovation and secrets hidden in R&D, but the fact of the matter is their most recent releases contain ideas from other companies' progress. This relates to elifestyle because our generation uses these products in our daily lives. Most of us do not remember a time when electronics did not make up a substantial part of our lives; when Apple was not a prominent consumer electronics company. Yota Devices is a smart phone phone company, based in Russia that is making waves in the cell phone community with their innovations in smart phone hardware. The yotaphone was released last year in asia and europe and quickly made a name for itself by offering not only staple specs we have come to expect, but also innovation for the screen. Its front screen operates as anyone would guess, so the real area the phone stands out in is shown when flipped over. The back screen is a low-power e-ink display that in the phones first incarnation was mainly used for display and lacked touchscreen capabilities. Now, however, in the yotaphones upcoming successor: the screen has made the jump to a full touch panel, allowing it be used to answer calls, receive and dismiss notifications and be used to play games that don't require the flashy capabilities of the front screen. This kind of innovation in cellphone technology is of paramount importance and the biggest step forward since the original iphone. The potential is amazing, allowing for new software to utilize the second screen, and making cellphones even more accessible and useful to the smartphone community.

Star Craft 2 can now qualify as military training as new technology has been unveiled giving battlefield commanders a real time view of the battlefield with a large touchscreen. The screen provides a real time view of the battlefield providing the exact location and movements of friendly units, and discovered enemy units. The technology collects and displays intelligence collected by drones and reconnaissance units. Additional assets such as close air support and artillery are displayed on the side and can be simply dragged and dropped to be deployed. This is truly the next giant leap for the evolution of the battlefield...3. I now have a reason to play endless hours of starcraft 2.

That's a damn impressive resolution, especially when you look at the current iPad's terrible pixel density and resolution. Although I am concerned about further fragmentation in Apple's App Store. Isn't the lack of fragmentation in apps one of the reasons you would use iOS devices instead of Android devices?

Apple's soon to come iPhone 6 is rumoured to have a larger display, which according to analyst Brian Marshall of ISI Group, could encourage many users to upgrade in 2014. Marshall suggests that Apple may release two versions of the phone, one with a 5.5 inch screen and one with a 4.7 inch screen. With a larger screen, the iPhone 6 may attract people who switched from iphone to android because of the larger screen, to come back to iPhones. A higher demand for an iPhone may happen because of this redesign plus the Touch ID fingerprint sensor on the iPhone 5s. I personally, would switch to iPhone if I was using a Samsung Galaxy, because the large screen would now be on the iPhone, but it would still also depend on the price of this new phone.

An awesome display of how todays technological advancements can be so easy to use yet so very helpful when they are most needed. A simple free application installed on a man's laptop saves him over $2000! I believe that this article displays how truly advanced our world has become over the past decade or so. This article relates to our everyday world because laptops are stolen all the time, and it explains how easy it can be to track down the thieves that take these laptops using todays advanced tracking applications. I am truly in awe of today's technological progress within all of the tools that we use every day like ipods, laptops and phones, and i know for a fact that the app prey and many other stolen phone track apps are available for free through many different types of app stores. Don't put it off download your very own tracking app before its too late

these glasses may be big and attached to a pack which must be carried with you, but it is pretty cool. these glasses may not look like much, but when you where them and turn them on, it displays a projection screen about 1 meter away from your eyes. like what you always see in spy movies or something. the little packs can attach to your belt, and displays it like a screen, it is meant for workers so that they can view the manual when working on something without climbing down to get it. NEC will start shipping these out on Dec 26(the day after Christmas) and I think that it will prove to be very useful in every day situations. it is priced at 400,000 yen or $5,200, but the software is at 1.9 million yen or $25,000

Samsung is planing to coming out with a bendy mobile devices in the world. the flexible device is suppose to coming out in 2012. this device was showed off just a few day after Nokia brought out their Kinetic Device prototype. im not sure if i would ever buy a flexible device  because somehow it may brake.

This article is about a new super-material that is very strong, super light and eats greenhouse gases. The material is made just from algae. Many scientists are saying that this nanocellulose  is a "wonder material" and can possibly become the raw material for sustainable production of biofuels and many other products. While producing the nanocellulose  the algae will absorb carbon dioxide and also is an abundant and inexpensive resource. Some people believe that this material will one day be used for super-light body armor and for replacement organs for transplants. In the beginning of production nanocellulose involved huge breeding tanks of bacteria which required food but recent advancements have helped groom new blue-green algae, which unlike normal bacteria, can make its own food from the sun, and devour greenhouse gases in the process. Nanocellulose research has been decades in the making and well worth it for the new discoveries scientists have found. I think that this is a very interesting new type of material and will one day be used to help many people.

This article is about a new substance called "Nanocellulose". This materiel is said to be as strong as Kevlar as well as light and can turn greenhouse gases into air, something scientist were trying to do with algae. There is so much possibility with this new material, at first it was very difficult to make it because you needed a certain type of bacteria and a lot of food, but now with advancements in technology it can use any bacteria and can get food from the sun. We can use this material for so much more right now we have only just discovered its potential. scientist say it may be able to be used as a bio fuel, super light body armor, thin displays, and even grow replacement organs later on.

Apple is starting to test their "budget" phone. Whether it will reach stores or not, the "budget" phone will make it a lot easier for many froogle customers to be able to afford an Apple iPhone without trying to take out a loan. This phone is believed to have a 0.4-0.6 mm thick plastic shell, with a 5MP camera, and 3.5- inch retina display. The phone will also contain an A5 chip and have the colour options varying from black, white, blue, yellow, and blue variety.
