Nexus Prime Boot Animation - 1 views

  •
Although we'll have to wait a little while longer to get our hands on the alleged Samsung Nexus Prime, that hasn't stopped one YouTube user from showing us the not-so-mysterious device's boot animation running on a Droid Bionic. It isn't much, but for those patiently awaiting what Samsung has in store, every little bit of info is welcome. It's not like we don't know what the rumored Prime might look like, its rumored specs, and even what oft-leaked version of Android it'll come pre-loaded with. It can't be much longer until the Nexus Prime is officially announced, but until then, keep your eyes on TechnoBuffalo for all the latest.

EPIC SIRI DEMO ON THE iPHONE 4S - 0 views

  •
ow that we're coming into the final stretch before the iPhone 4S is released, photos, videos and even a few benchmarks have begun to trickle online by people who have received their shipments ahead of October 14. Earlier today we were treated to a nice video by Stuff.tv that demonstrated a few of Siri's many abilities out in real world conditions - currency exchanges, temperatures and alarms setups. Now we have a much more thorough video from one lucky YouTube user that features the depth of Siri's knowledge along with a few oddball questions for good measure. Conclusion? Siri is looking more and more impressive by the day.

BlackBerry users in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, and other parts of the world have been stuck without BlackBerry Messenger and internet access for over two days now. RIM did promise customers in a message via Twitter that the service had been restored yesterday, however, that doesn't seem to be the case.

Gamestop Plans To Sell iPhone, iPod, And iPad - 0 views

Still think mobile gaming isn't a big deal? GameStop disagrees. Though they may not be as in-depth or graphically stimulating as console or PC-based games, but mobile games are accessible to everyone. My grandma can't play L.A. Noire, but she's beat every level of Angry Birds. So it only makes sense that GameStop has decided to put a couple new devices on its shelves: the iPod, iPhone, and iPad.

  •
till not convinced that BlackBerry Messenger for Android is real and possibly showing up next week at BlackBerry DevCon? Let us whet your appetite with a few more images.
  •
Last week a source at Research In Motion (RIM) reached out to us with some images of what they claimed to be BBM for Android.  Said source read the comments on that post and decided to come back with a few more images to explain some of what you were seeing.  These new pictures show off threaded messaging as well as the ability to customize your fonts.  According to what the anonymous source tells us, you'll also be able to change the size as you want for easy reading. All of the accounts shown in the images are test accounts, so don't be thrown by that part.

new apple tv? - 0 views

  •
At a minimum we'll probably see Apple TV start using the same A5 processor used in the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 in the future. An A5 processor would make the device work faster, and would allow Apple TV to play back 1080p video.

iPhone 4S Benchmarks: Slower Than iPad 2, But Still The Fastest Smartphone Available - 2 views

  •
Are all A5 processors the same as another? Not so, says AnandTech, which looked into the iPhone 4S' processor compared to others, including the A5 chip in the iPad 2. The site compiled known benchmarks and "compared them to our existing database of tests." Bottom line? The iPhone 4S is underclocked to roughly 800 MHz, making it slower than Apple's current tablet, but still plenty fast, says the site.

Sony Wins The Internet Today With The PS3 Ad Spot Michael | TechCrunch - 0 views

  •
Love or hate gaming, this Sony advert properly captures the very essence of video games. It's about the experiences. It's about the memories. Video games allow a person to, even briefly, become someone else, and enter their life and see a different world. Link, Ghost, and Gordon Freeman all become part of a gamer's narrative with just as much consequence as Tom Sawyer or The Hardy Boys.

When Is Being Connected All The Time Too Much? - 0 views

  •
I was pretty shocked by the move when it happened, which made me start to take a look at my own personal connection to mobile technology. If the idea of turning my phone off to spend time with a friend is crazy talk, then maybe the crazy thing is how connected I am. The whole idea of being that connected is, after all, to be able to easily reach and connect with people (like this friend). What better time to do that when the friend is physically in front of me, trying to have a real-world conversation.

Nowadays many of us go online believing that we are safe and that we have our own privacy in our own home while we chat with our friends or while we do research, but not in this instance. In some German states authorities admitted to using spyware in the form of a Trojan. These authorities are allowed to use spyware to keep track on criminals but are only allowed to use these to allow for a smooth capture not for pleasure as they were doing. This Trojan takes control over your computer this Trojan gives the creator access to your email, monitor your keystrokes, turn on the microphone, and the webcam.
