This book mark is about an Android app called "Handy Scanner". This is an amazing app that allows you to take a picture of a piece of paper and make it more legible by zooming it more, cropping out anything in the background, making the picture gray scale etc. This is related to the course because this is a form of new technology. This is interesting and helpful because I always try to take pictures of notes with my blackberry, but the picture always comes out bad so I think this will help me very much. 

The Sennheiser is the most popular headset. This is because it has great audio, crystal clear voice quality, and is very comfortable. This headset is very convenient for video conferences and especially in gaming. I recommend that gamers who play online games that involve multiplayer such as fps should purchase this.  This is because it will really improve situations where someone can sneak behind you, and BOOM, you die. :(

When the iOS is jailbroken, there is an app, "iSleepWell", that will temporarily shut you phone down. It helps save battery life, block notifications, incoming messages, calls, etc. This app is very convenient to have if you are an especially busy person. It is a fair app to buy, at 99cent download. When in the middle of a good conversation, just starting a movie, or even going to sleep, all you have to do is flip the phone to face down and it will temporarily shut down the phone. 

Have you ever had the urge to use a computer or phone late into the night? I know I have (many times). Well, the truth is that staring at the screen for a while on these devices can actually kill your sleep cycle. However, this article gives a couple of tips for those who want to avoid the eye pain from the brightness of the screen (the most obvious being to just dim the brightness more) and avoid that irregular sleep cycle we all face from time to time.

I find this article interesting, it shows how we could put music to your secondary media player. It's amazing how it can become your best way to back up and access your music from where ever. It's pretty cool that Google is trying their best to improve their site, and Google is taking time to improve their site. Since it's one of the best music web apps, i can get to sync my music library and it can connect to my mobile, and also it's for free.

Google Music is states only for now, though. But an easy way to get around it is to either use a web proxy (hidemyass.com) or something like hotspot shield, sign into your google account and go to music.google.com. Turns out you only need to sign into Google Music once with a US IP address to be let in forever. So once you do that you can close the proxy and you'll be able to use it normally.

Rather than doing it by hand on notebook which they can easily lose, they can now do it on the computer and upgrade it every month or so. My dad and mom does this and it is very easy for them to organize it because they do calculations for them. This will be very useful for your parents and for you too when you move out. 

just like our class is learning about basic programming, Apple is making a guide to create your first app on your every own iOS device. This is a good program that Apple is doing but i dont feel that paying 99$ a year so that you can publish your own app on the app store

I think this is a great idea to do. Zamzar makes it much easier fro us now to read/see things that are emailed to us. It's also more reasonable because almost everyone has smart phones nowadays and if you wanted to read an email on your phone but it needed converting you could just use Zamzar. You wouldn't have to wait until you were able to go home and use your laptop. The only downfall is that you need a paid account on Zamzar if you wanted to convert more than 1MB of files.

This article represents a tool called the AutoHotkey. This is a downloadable program that will help you create shortcuts for system tasks in Windows. This tool can assign hotkeys such as shutting down or restarting your computer, adjusting volume, and opening/closing the CD drive, etc. I find this very convenient for people who use their computers everyday because it arranges a more faster and easier use for system task. It is also very useful for people who are lazy and don't want press buttons on certain areas of the computer or monitor.

One of the many annoyances a lot of us have to put up with every now and then (I know I do, ALL THE TIME) has a very useful solution. The article gives people a sense on how to properly put in a USB cable or stick into our computers by looking at the seam (the kind of squiggly line  on the USB; you'll know what it means when you check out the article), that way every time you put it into your computer, you'll be hassle free from this constant nuisance.

you know when you wanna post a story on twitter, but ya can't because the post limit is no longer than 140? well now you sort of can by using TwitLonger, which will post the first 100 characters along with a shortened URL to the TwitLonger webapp. Many think this is a great idea, though others like me think it's useless because i don't have twitter .

This article is about being able to tweet more than 140 characters on twitter. I think this is very helpful because when i want to tweet an embarrassing moment or a new experience i am always limited because of the 140 characters restrictions. With this app it can increase the number, and people like me can tweet more about there life experiences..  

The new iPhone IOS'6 update includes Do Not Disturb and VIP attributes that allow consumers to enable features that suit their personal needs. With the Do Not Disturb aspect you are able to customise your phone so that incoming calls are received while your device is locked; giving you the option of able to avoid the call or accept it, with just a "simple text." And a bunch of other features that are supposedly supposed to make your life easier. People who constantly use apple products would be more comfortable when upgrading their systems because they actually use these attributes. Although to the average teen, it seems pointless and contradictory. With the Do Not Disturb feature, if someone can access your password then, they could change your settings. Therefore you wouldn't receive any calls! Apple entices people to keep upgrading their systems because they are a cooperate business.

What this article is trying to say is that in life, if you don't reach a goal that you have put yourself into having, then you shouldn't take failure of reaching that goal and decide since it didn't happen, you are a failure. Instead, prepare yourself for those times in life when you will be great, or you will reach something you wanted, because one day it will still happen. This will show and help you reach your future goals in life, which is why it relates to my tags. The typical computer workspace setting looks a little darker, and more secluded than these designers wanted. They chose an open concept workspace instead, which includes flowers, plants. etc. The two people credited for this idea are Julia and Yuriy. This is a design for a home office. They think, that if you are into spending time with your significant other, and are willing to share a desk this can be a fabulous idea, since you are connected and have to work together. This could be an interesting concept. This website actually takes other people's ideas and puts them up for display, so this does not happen to be proven or tested to work better, or something along those lines. Still, I think this could work for me. I like the atmosphere this gives off, and you could probably get a lot of things done quicker if you are comfortable.

A new app for android users shows that a 90 minute sleep cycle can ensure you that you wake up energized, and a 90Night makes it simpler for you to get this sleep bu letting you choose the best time to wake up. This free app asks you to put the time you want to fall asleep and accordingly on the screen gives you different timings based on a 90-minute cycle. In the app's settings, you can also add the amount of time it usually takes for you to fall asleep that 90Night can take that into account when giving you timings. Overall, it is a much easier process than setting an alarm for yourself. The app also works the other way around as you can set the time you want to wake up and 90Night will give you options of what time you should go to bed.

A simple free application installed on a man's laptop saves him over $2000! I believe that this article displays how truly advanced our world has become over the past decade or so. This article relates to our everyday world because laptops are stolen all the time, and it explains how easy it can be to track down the thieves that take these laptops using todays advanced tracking applications. I am truly in awe of today's technological progress within all of the tools that we use every day like ipods, laptops and phones, and i know for a fact that the app prey and many other stolen phone track apps are available for free through many different types of app stores. Don't put it off download your very own tracking app before its too late
