We use energy for everything. We use energy to treat our water , grow our food, produces and to go to place to place. In general we want our community to develop more diverse, reliable, and cleaner sources of energy; to reduce energy usage; and to improve efficiency.

I tried to see what was important on this article but it wasn't very easy for me personally to grasp. I see that you 3 did find the point of the sustainability with electricity. I find it funny that we are always leaving lights on when we leave a room and think nothing of it until we are told it will save us money or that we are wasting something we really take for granted.

This article states that sustainability and energy interconnect in many ways. I agree with Dominique we use energy for everything we do, but hopefully we don't take advantage of the resources we have now and end up leaving are future heirs high and dry.

There is such thing as raising healthy food humans as well as animals that doesn't harm the environment, thats save  and equal for workers (even farmers), respects the animals and supports our communities. As humans we need to recycle not waste, we need to refuse what is reusable and make our environment safe.

This is great article to grasp what exactly sustainability is. I like how it really goes it to depth about what exactly it is instead of just giving a general defining statement, it helps with the comprehension of what it really means. It also shows what can be done to help this also helped with the comprehension because it gave examples so also an opportunity to reflect as well.

To achieve a sustainable society then food waste must be recycled as opposed to being sent to landfill sites around the country. Well a group of Students from Pomona's College started to try to save food from being tossed out. They would package it and send it to a shelter to help those in need. 3.7 million adults struggle to put food on the table, but 1.5 million tons of food get wasted and thrown away. Now there is something wrong with that. Donating food to the need has become a solution, but what if your willingness to help out gets turned down? One person turned donation food donations because the fear of rotten food and health code. How are we suppose to help food waste if others are squashing our solutions?
