This article talks about different well known colleges using different methods of sustainability. Different colleges have only used food from the local area, composting waste, energy saving techniques through out the college campus, etc. This article goes goes through each college and tells you about how the college has change to become more sustainable.

Well a group of Students from Pomona's College started to try to save food from being tossed out. They would package it and send it to a shelter to help those in need. 3.7 million adults struggle to put food on the table, but 1.5 million tons of food get wasted and thrown away. Now there is something wrong with that. Donating food to the need has become a solution, but what if your willingness to help out gets turned down? One person turned donation food donations because the fear of rotten food and health code. How are we suppose to help food waste if others are squashing our solutions?

This article is about how college students haved become vigilant about sustainability. With Internet research, they are investigating energy use, food purchasing, investments, transportation, and waste disposal. They are pushing administrators to approve new projects.

In the article, they talk about how UC Berkely is one out of 19 colleges and universities in the region to sign up for the food recovery challenge. They discuss what they're doing and what they plan on doing to prevent waste by composting, recycling and etc.

Dana was a town girl and in very difficulty family. However, after she has traveled through Southeast Asia has changed her life to see how less food waste there was. When Dana got into College, she started to take action to make American waste valuable.

College students found a way to use unwanted food by putting back into the ground on their farm. From farm to plate and back to the farm.
