If the certain product isn't the right shape, color, size, or feel right it is left. This is because the consumers won't buy the product if it looks a little funny. If it makes it to the store the grocer does sales, promotions and other things to have consumers buy more. This then results in waste at home because often times consumers won't use all the product.
