as part of our personal freedoms women should be allowed to have an abortion, or as many as they want.Many American believe abortion freedom is as important as the right to free speech, and the right to vote.

This topic is a difficult one to discuss. I feel as if birth and pregnancy is a miracle and its such a beautiful thing. Women able to be pregnant should be proud and feel blessed as some women aren't as grateful. I feel as if their is no excuse to take an infants life for the mothers fault. The only time i feel that there should be a debate about it is if the woman was raped.

New York City Mayor is trying to ban sugar drinks that are larger than 16 ounces because it is one of the main causes of obesity. People argue that although they agree with the fact that soft drinks are indeed unhealthy, the government should protect the freedom of the people.

In this article, the author talks about the public schooling system as a forced act on our society that actually makes the future of education worse for us. We have a right to bear arms, but there is still alot of controversy arising with this 2nd Amendment right. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and mine is that if you are a responsible human being, and you are using the weapon as protection and leaving it in a safe place with the right precautions than you can have one, and you aren't abusing the right to have one. But if you are going to obtain a gun and bad decisions and leave it in places where it is easily accessable to those who shouldn't have it than you are irrisponsible and shouldn't be allowed to carry one. But, how are we supposed to sift through these personalities and find out who is capable of following the guidlines. Well...that is the million dollar question now isn't is?

I thought that this was a great article to post because it explains just how important personal freedom is to my tribe. Personal freedom is something that means so much to everyone as an individual, but when it is taken away, it becomes something that you strive for and cherish. When I read this article it made me realize just how thankful I should be to have my freedom and knowing how hard it was for my ancestors to fight for,when we had different people fighting for our land.

Abortion has two very strong sides, pro life and pro choice Pro life individuals believe that the fetus has the right to live , as the mother has a right to live. Pro choice argues that the mother has the decision whether to terminate per pregnancy within the first 3 months.

I often think that individuals should have the freedom to self prescribe or have access to medication that doctors would prescribe without a prescription. This article from The Washington Post is an excellent reminder or why people should NOT have the freedom to buy dangerous drugs without doctor's consent. It gives examples of how online drug stores run their business using a middle man and a phone doctor to issue the medications. There is a story about one online pharmacy, run by an ex-felon, that went from filling 17 prescriptions in 6 months to over 1100 in a month. The author also mentions stories of indiviuals affected by this problem.
