This is surprising to see in the way that it has been kept underground and has had successful results. Although it is not surprising that many terminally ill patients would opt for this.

This article is a tough one. I agree with everything everyone is saying, but initially it is about the person who is suffering. If one of my family members were suffering with an illness that unfortunately ended with an early death and they were in horrible pain, I would rather tem be at peace and end their suffering if it is what they wanted.

This is one of the largest growing controversies in the United States. We have a lot of stubborn and close-minded people in this great nation. We all just need to open our hearts a little and accept these people and try to realize where they are coming from. They just want to be able to be happy like anyone would; and be able to marry the one that they love. People say it goes against tradition, and what marriage is valued as...between a man & woman. There are so many traditions that have been changed or forgotten in this day and age, and I am sure that letting these people marry who they want and where they want, isn't going to lead to something horrible. I think that some of us just need to really be educated and try to feel for these people who just want the opportunity to solidify their love for one another with Marraige.

This topic is a difficult one to discuss. I feel as if birth and pregnancy is a miracle and its such a beautiful thing. Women able to be pregnant should be proud and feel blessed as some women aren't as grateful. I feel as if their is no excuse to take an infants life for the mothers fault. The only time i feel that there should be a debate about it is if the woman was raped.

The right for a women to get an abortion or even several abortions is ultimately one of her personal freedoms. There are many different scenarios that happen that lead to an abortion and who are we to questions anyone about to get one? Its a woman's private decision and freedom and should be left that way.

Technology is advancing faster and faster every minute and privacy is something known of the past now in my opinion. One of my teachers told the class that everything you learn about computers during your freshman and sophomore years of college will most likely be outdated by your junior year - just to help realize how fast technology is actually growing. Anything online can affect you now-a-days it seems. On the news the other day, there was a story about Facebook Friends and your credit. People are actually being denied car loans or things of that sort because of the friends they have on Facebook because if their friends seem unreliable and have bad scores, then the company will assume you do too. It's getting ridiculous to be honest.

These days employers monitor and know everything you are doing. Knowing this, I feel like if you are acting in a way that is respectable both at work and in your personal life, you will have nothing to worry about. I do not see this issue of lack of privacy changing, I see it increasing as time goes on.

Media Privacy, copyright infringement is what PIPA and SOPA is about. they want to block certain domains like the pirate bay and mega upload from giving away movies and music. Even payperview fights are on the pirate bay. for example, if comcast or century link didn't want you to access piratebay.org they could block it but there is still a way to get to the website through other ways so PIPA and SOPA had to drop it.

It is amazing how much information people put out there. At work, we have to take compliance courses every year. Just last year, they added a couple of modules on social media, and what is expected of you in relation to the information about work that you put out there.

New York City Mayor is trying to ban sugar drinks that are larger than 16 ounces because it is one of the main causes of obesity. People argue that although they agree with the fact that soft drinks are indeed unhealthy, the government should protect the freedom of the people.

My personal belief is that marriage is to be between a man and a woman, however, I also believe that is it not my place to judge anyone. Who am I to tell someone who to love? We have a right to bear arms, but there is still alot of controversy arising with this 2nd Amendment right. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and mine is that if you are a responsible human being, and you are using the weapon as protection and leaving it in a safe place with the right precautions than you can have one, and you aren't abusing the right to have one. But if you are going to obtain a gun and bad decisions and leave it in places where it is easily accessable to those who shouldn't have it than you are irrisponsible and shouldn't be allowed to carry one. The US military is developing software that will let it secretly manipulate social media sites by using fake online personas to influence internet conversations and spread pro-American propaganda. A Californian corporation has been awarded a contract with United States Central Command (Centcom), which oversees US armed operations in the Middle East and Central Asia, to develop what is described as an "online persona management service" that will allow one US serviceman or woman to control up to 10 separate identities based all over the world. The project has been likened by web experts to China's attempts to control and restrict free speech on the internet. Critics are likely to complain that it will allow the US military to create a false consensus in online conversations, crowd out unwelcome opinions and smother commentaries or reports that do not correspond with its own objectives
