This article is based on school choice. To choose a school for your child based on your living location. How empowering the parent to choice would be more beneficial.

It is very important in the present day for children to get a good education and the child should not have to suffer a poor education because of where they live. If the parents can not afford to live in a neighborhood with the top performance schools they should still be able to send their child to a good school and even if it means the child has to take the bus or car pool.

Although many people live in districts that have the funding for an excellent staff that is required to create a good learning environment, there are some parents that do not have that luxury. Being at a good school is what ultimately gets students out of the 'poverty cycle' or not. If a student does live in a bad neighborhood and has the possibility of attending a better neighborhood even if it is a bus ride or drive away it should be up to them ultimately if they want to make that change and commute for the better learning environment.

This article is based on a speech former president Bill Clinton gave in June of this year about healthcare. He states facts about how our country spends so much more on healthcare then other countries. He talks about how if we adopted a Universal Healthcare System like countries such as France and Canada have, then we would save a lot of money.

This is showing how even though a few states have tried to perform drug testing on welfare recipients it has been unsuccessful and has not saved any money.

Congress just spends money like it's going out of style. When the goverment spends more money that it brings in, you know we have a problem. Then we start to play the blame game, republicans blame the democrats, and the democrats blame the republicans. Haven't we learned that blaming each other never solves anything? They need to take responsibility and budget better...pff. Or just raise all of our taxes to try to make up for it...now that doesn't seem fair for us hard working citizens, I don't think we recieved any of that spending money. Lets just fix the problem before our economic well-being is dug into a hole so deep we can't pull ourselves out.

The legislature started to pass laws requiring people to use their seat belts. Each time new legislature came, there was a great number of people opposed and people for seat belt use. The legislature would give money to states that would enforce the seat belt laws.

With planned parenthood comes controversy, and opinions range from pro-abortion and anti-planned parenthood, to being against both. But Sarah Torre gives seven good reasons planned parenthood should not be given government funding. According to Torre, Planned parenthood pushes abortions, instead of education about precautionary measures. They oppose laws that protect women and children, and they only care about their profit, and they don't even provide the best care.

The Wisconsin state Assembly has passed a bill that would take $3.5 million a year in federal grant money away from Planned Parenthood. The Republican-controlled Assembly passed the measure 60-35 Thursday with no Democratic support. It now heads to the Senate. Gov. Scott Walker has said he supports it.

"Super PACs arose after the 2010 Supreme Court decisions in Citizens United vs. Federal Election Committee, which said that corporations could donate to political candidates because of free speech, and Speechnow.org vs. Federal Election Committee, which states that individuals cannot be limited in how much they donate to corporations because of free speech. Many were not pleased with this decision because it has paved the way for billionaires like Adelson and George Soros to funnel as much money as they please into campaigns both publicly and anonymously."

If we had Universal Healthcare, no one would go with out seeing a doctor when they need to, or getting medicine they need to survive. We would also spend less money on healthcare. It would also prevent less medical errors, which would save more lives

This article is about illegal immigrants crossing the border. The immigrants are coming into the United States for work. They send their earnings back to their families in Mexico. The money that they make has a huge impact on the Mexican economy. They estimate that 1 in 10 families in Mexico is dependent on the money sent back to them. It is their primary source of income. Since 1994 the amount of deaths of immigrants crossing the border has increased over 600%. They die of dehydration and hypothermia.

Interesting concept here, but they will spend lots more money defending laws like this than they would if they just paid the welfare. Too bad. 

The Park 51 project in New York City is again under fire, this time for applying for funds from the 9-11 rebuilding fund. Critics and protesters think the project development is a "slap in the face" as people continue to debate its proximity to Ground Zero. Yet, how can the appropriation of public funding be legally withheld from a specific religious or cultural group?

Deductibles have risen substantially over time. For preferred provider organization (PPO) plans purchased through an employer, the average family deductible increased 30 percent in just two years, from $1,034 to $1,344.
