In the article, it states that, "teachers of social studies content are less likely than teachers of other content areas to utilize technology in their classroom." This research study (carried out by a UCF faculty member) focuses on how a technology coordinators' beliefs towards technology, instruction, and students impacted how technology was used during a technology-enriched project with a group of fourth grade students. It was found that the coordinator's beliefs did in fact directly impact how technology was used.

This lesson plan from Interface Magazine suggests ways to incorporate Twitter in your class. They seem so easy and practical but I never would have thought of some of these methods, and I was even an early Twitter adopter. Make sure to watch the video under "The Twitter Experiment"! It gives parent helpful practical examples of how they can use everyday task such as shopping at the grocery store to get kids motivated and practicing their math skills. These type of hands on practical approaches are always great to do with young kids because it's a way to capitalize on their free time and to have them practice what they are learning in school without feeling like they are in a classroom.

The white board is a great for the classroom, we were just taking about them in class. One new teacher was complaining because she was not allow to use it. I our teacher told her that she must go through training before she can use it. These boards cost a lot of money, we have to be able to use them properly. Thanks for the post
