The Scholastic website @ http://www2.scholastic.com/browse/home.jsp is a wonderful website designed for students, parents, and teachers. This website contains reading lesson plans created for student's prekindergarten through twelfth grade. This website a contains numerous resources including reading pintables that could be used in a classroom. I would highly recommend this website for students, parents and teachers.

Cool math.com @ http://www.coolmath.com/ is a wonderful website for finding lesson plans for any age student. This website is designed for students, parents, and teachers. It has games, lesson plans, teaching strategies, teaching segments, and different types of calculators. This website also provides a large variety of math problems in areas such as: adding, subtracting, dividing, decimals, algebra and geometry.

The Broward County School District has a designated website for parents call PARENT INVOLVEMENT. This is great website for parents within the Broward County school district to use as a quick condense reference guide to get and stay info with what's going on in this school district. This website also provides an abundance of valuable resources ranging from ways for parent to get involve in their child's schooling, school policies, academic info, and supportive services to things as Teen Parent Program, health education, and preventive programs from substance abuse, etc.

American Association of School Librarians website. Links to other useful websites for media sharing, digital storytelling, classroom management & organization, social networking & communication, content resources, and curriculum collaboration! Excellent FREE resources for the clasroom!

Another good resource for supplemental material. Hundereds of topics from The Inquisition to Praire Dogs. Provides links to webistes that can be used as interactive lessons as well as links where educator's can find information and printable activities.

This site offers a wide collection of topic-based online education resources, clip art, and free lesson plans that meet state and national standards.

Educational website for teachers and students

Edutopia is all about change and innovation in education. It is a great website to explore for new ideas, educational resources and discussion boards.

This is great website to reference to as an educator. It has a variety of information and perspective from various professional in the field of education. I love the fact that it has blogs broken down into categories that covers topics in certain grade level. Overall this website is very user friendly and truly utilizes the multimedia format.

For your future Paleontologist. This website is a free and informative website about dinosaurs. They can learn about dinosaurs and even list the ones they want to learn about. Learn the history and play games

This is the section of the Minnesota Dept. of Education's website called "Educator Excellence," furnished with resourses to help educators succeed such as Early Learning Resources, Professional Development and Teacher Programs. Worth taking a look at to compare with FL Dept. of Ed's website.

I have used this in the classroom before and think that it has some great information on historical events put in terms younger children will understand.

I know other people have posted Ben's Guide, but here's the K-2 section of the web site, which includes games and activities, as well as additional links and resources for the students. I particularly like the subtopic about "My Neighborhood," as it is relevant to what I will be teaching my students in my own classroom and I love supplemental material!

Ben's Guide to US Government, K-2.  Includes sub topics relevant to the grade I teach, including "Your Neighborhood."  Website also includes games and activities, lots of visuals and videos, and also additional resources and websites for the students to explore.

Matho is a great website and also a phone app for both iphone and android for parent to have available for their children. Kids love to play online games and this type of website allows parents to provide their children with a fun interactive game while enhancing their math skills. Also the games are timed so this can further challenge kids to want to compete in trying to get the highest score in the shortest amount of time.

love this website!!! students always complain that they can't understand why they need to learn algebra because they want to be a rapper, singer, fashion designer, etc. This website give teachers are great lesson plan that includes video and other visuals to show students how algebra is needed in most careers

This website is a great internet safety resource for students, parents and educators.  There are videos and lesson ideas available.  There is also information about cyberbullying.  This website is a great classroom tool because it offers engaging activities for students, including virtual games, to teach them about internet safety.

A very valuable resource! My favorite part of this site is that you may access not only all of the standards but also accompanying lessons ideas for those standards.

Florida website that is an amazing website that has lesson plans with tons of resources. Each one is also linked to standards.

This is a great resource for creating centers and improving reading instruction. Although this is not an interactive website, it is very user friendly. The website can be searched by grade level or by reading component. You can print out the resources, laminate them and save yourself a lot of time for making center activities.
