Great website for educators to access royalty free clip art, lesson plans, clip media, and presentations.

This website is AMAZING. It has clip-art, photographs, presentation images, maps, lessons, and answers to tech questions. There are so many images available, they are free (up to a certain amount, but it is very generous), it tells you exactly how to cite them, and it has options for file size and format. Arizona has been wonderfully progressive in integrating technology into their curriculum. Here are their standards for edtech for the K-6 grade levels.

While the Florida Department of Education does not officially endorse any specific technology standards or models of teaching with technology, the resources provided are made available to assist educators and administrators with the facilitation of technology integration into classrooms, schools, and school districts.

This Technology Integration Matrix is the tool that is used in our Orlando local district to plan, prepare, measure, and implement digital standards based lessons.

Schools across the country are contemplating a technology overhaul to meet new, tougher education standards adopted by 45 states and the District of Columbia, known as Common Core. Those standards take effect in the fall of 2014.

These are the resources that are recommended by the Department of Education for Science classes. While the links all lead to valuable resources, the interesting part is the technology that they recommend each classroom to have!

One great way to incorporate technology in the classroom is to have a focus on STEM learning. FLDOE provides a "teacher toolkit"for grades k-5 with resources to help incorporate STEM into standard based instruction. Including direct links to online learning activities.

This is the Teaching Channel's website filled with educator resources.  I have found several Science lab ideas from this site.  Many resources are standards based and grounded in STEM research, but there are resources for all subject areas.  There are also videos available that show lessons in practice.

Thanks for sharing. I am building resources for my developmentally delayed students and often go to by pre-made resources. As I get up to speed, I realize I would like to build my own. Is Boardmaker Online user friendly or does it require extensive practice?
