Science teachers this is a must have. Our school has this online science fair for K-12 students. We must start utilizing this in our classroom this is really awesome!! Please check it out.

I loved using this site to help my students practice skills in reading and math prior to completing science practice. Unfortunately the science test is testing reading comprehension as much as it tests science. If students are great at hands on experiments but cannot associate a paragraph of written material to the hands on activity, then they will not do well on FCAT Science. FCAT Explorer will help with those skills prior to science lessons.

FCAT Explorer is a free, online educational program for Florida's students that reinforces reading and math skills outlined in the Sunshine State Standards.

A great way to combine current events and science in the older grades. 

The mission of The Why Files is to explore the science, math and technology behind the news of the day, and to present those topics in a clear, accessible and accurate manner.The Why Files produces a new story each week, alternating longer features with shorter shorties. The website also posts a series of interactive science animations and the ever-popular "Cool Science Images," a series of Teacher Activity Pages linked to the national science teaching standards, The Weather Guys, and Curiosities. I think this is a cool resource!

The Science Spot is a one stop shop for free lesson plans, resources, worksheets, hands on activities and numerous other resources. If you teach science this site should be on the top of your favorites list. The quality of the materials and resources on this site are excellent and best of all it is free.

One of my all time favorite science websites!

For all you science buffs or science teachers interested in finding a great sight for astronomy, this one has wonderful interactive activities, pictures and videos of the solar system. Check it out.

Bill Nye the Science Guy! This site has an entire section for kids and teachers. Episode guides, home demos, demos that you can print (printable one sheets), and pop quizzes. There is also information about Bill Nye Solving for X - Bill Nye does Math!!

Has a lot of science resources related to sunshine standards, and includes virtual labs and dissections, etc.

Formerly called Science News for Kids, this is a great resource for elementary and middle school students. In my classes I assign a monthly "science current events article" and this is one of the recommended sources.
