Flipboard: Your Social News Magazine for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPo... - 1 views

  •
Flipboard has announced a new feature for its popular app for iOS that lets users co-curate magazines. Starting today, Flipboard curators can invite others to contribute to their magazines. So if there are people who share your passions or have expertise about your topic of interest, invite a bunch of your friends to be co-curators. Once they accept, they'll be able to easily flip content into the magazine via the + button on Flipboard and the "Flip It" Web bookmarklet. The magazine will be added to their dashboard, as well.

"I confess!  I'm a Flipboard flip-a-holic. I wasn't always this way.  I originally hated Flipbaord and found the magazine style layout cluttered. Life has changed and Flipboard is now the most used app on my tablet. And since I wrote my post on Google Reader replacements, I've had a lot of people ask me what benefits I gain using Flipboard that they missed! So I've put together this information to help you get started using Flipboard or get more out of using Flipboard."

Why QR codes aren't catching on - CNN.com - 7 views

  •
" Quick response (QR) codes -- those two-dimensional barcodes that resemble a checkerboard on LSD -- are appearing more frequently on billboards, magazine ads, business cards, stickers, T-shirts and anything that is used to promote stuff. Stiktu - Layar Blog - 8 views

  •
Stiktu is a whole new way of using augmented reality to be creative and express yourself on top of objects in the real world. It's the app to leave your mark, share your favorite things, rate items you like and speak your mind. With Stiktu, you can add text, images, stickers and sketches to objects around you by scanning them with your phone. Then anyone who scans that item will see your post directly on top of it, no matter where they are in the world. It works great with flat, well-lit items like posters, magazines and product packaging - the same items you see used with Layar Vision.
