This document identifies the struggles of women in the middle east and north Africa as well as the struggles they go through everyday. You'd think we'd be more worried about this as a country seeing how "equal rights" driven we are.

It is sad to see that in some countries women still do not have rights, or that their rights are very limited.

This is very interesting to be honest I had no idea that women were not being given equal rights in other places.

Our first amendment right might be under threat on virtual platforms. Should the government be able to limit our speech online?

Rather, they are organizations made up of groups of individuals (including traditional employees, temporary employees, and even contractors) who seek to advocate for worker rights and social justice issues in the 21st century workplace.

This seems like a good organization, specially since there are some employers who take advantage of their works.

With only 3% of world's fresh water, this causes the threat of water scarcity. Some of the main causes are water pollution, agriculture, population growth, overall climate change. This is overall damaging our ecosystems and lack water for everyone all around the world.

Water scarcity is one of the biggest concerns of our time. The photos and videos on this site do a good job of conveying how dire the situation is, and how we should be paying more attention to such a precious resource.

This is a huge concern especially when companies are starting to sell water for profit

This article mentions what is means to me food insecure and the different levels of it. The definition of Food Insecurity is the lack of consistent access to necessary food for a healthy lifestyle. It discusses factors, burdens, and programs of food insecurity.

I feel that food insecurity is a topic that many people don't think about often. I was unaware of how many people were affected by it until I started looking for social justice issues. This article helped me understand how this issue is trying to be resolved.

many refuges are not being granted asylum and are being pushed back or delayed. according to the article asylum seekers are being forced to neighboring countries because of recent violence. also covid 19 has affected many of these cases for asylum seekers.

I liked how the article pointed out that people are doing go fund me accounts and that is a good example because many people are unable to afford healthcare and people are depending on other individuals to pay for their medical bills and it is a huge issue.

Extreme poverty was at the highest in the year 2020. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic millions of people lost their jobs and other things which led them to be poor.

Migrants face huge hurdles when trying to immigrate to the U.S., and their stories show that there is work to be done on the U.S. immigration process.

Children who are in the foster care system face more hardships than children who are not. Some of the hardships foster kids face are lack of stability, abuse (both physical and mental), neglect, etc. When placed in foster homes, most of the time kids will face some sort of hardship, unless they are lucky.

Overcrowding in classes often limits how much help students can get. Overcrowding in classrooms takes away that one-on-one time teachers need to have with their students. It will be harder for teachers to fund a study plan that works for everyone.

Student loan debt is something that greatly impacts the economy in many different ways. Student debt can cause many graduates to set aside their goals, such as owning a home in order to pay off their debts. Student debt is a larger problems and it is sometimes overlooked.

Human trafficking has a great impact on its victims. IF victims are able to get away from traffickers, they will still struggle for the rest of their lives. Even though they got away, they will forever be scarred. They will always remember their experience.

This is very true because most were forced or tricked into it. Not to mention they make them do some unspeakable things.

Children whose parents are immigrants are under constant stress because of deportation. If parents get deported, children will live with the trauma of being separated. Those children will have to live their lives without their parents, which could lead to many other issues.

She stated that the APA Office of International Affairs hosted a program called the International Learning Partner Program in Kosovo. 10 U.S. based psychologists who joined the program in Kosovo allowed people like Ilir, an expert in Balkan culture, who had no choice but to flee his country.According to United Nations High Commissions on Refugees every 20 minutes people leave everything behind in order to escape the terror of war and persecution. Okazaki, Haarlammert, Guler and Liu (2019), indicated that psychology has never been more important than it is today. With the strong leadership in the APA evidence on the recognition of the refugees rights has increasingly gotten a lot better.

Harald Krieg talks about in his article about how economic prosperity falls under social ills such as obesity to homicide. The article also states that countries that suffer a bigger income gap often result in more social ills as well. The good news is that it definitely has started to see the light of day in the recent years.
