When I first read this article, I was worried about finding a very biased political perspective. On the contrary, this article was very neutral and explained the advantages and disadvantages of a vaccine mandate for Health Care Workers. The article explained how if countries allowed the mandate, then patients and visitors will be much safer. The mandate, though, can be immoral and hinder personal autonomy.

The rising suicide rates across the globe are disturbing. Over the past 45 years, the suicide rates have risen by 60%, they have nearly doubled, and are getting worse every year. As of 2016, a person commits suicide every 40 seconds, and the CDC believes that that number will rise to one every 20 seconds by 2020, a disturbing figure. The phenomenon has had little explanation as to cause, however i believe it is the fall in the number of people of faith, or religion. We see on the news and on social media that teens are committing suicide but we need to realize that it is not just teens, its all people. I definitely agree with this article. Even if some people like to think this isn't a problem it definitely is. For men and women in the same field regardless of what that field is men often get the higher income than women do. My mother is a major example of this and often talks about how the men in the same department as her make more money even when they produce less work that generally isn't that good. On top of that my mother works the same amount of hours and even more than average in a given week yet still doesn't come close to the pay gap. Of course, there may be inconsistency in statistics but it is definitely still an issue to be aware of because it still exists.

I am not sure what to think about this article. Am I the only one that thinks it is a little absurd? I say absurd because it seems people are increasingly sensitive. I do not condone bullying. However, an adult should not be bullied at work. I can not think of a profession that it would actually take place. One might say well that is part of the problem. No, just because somebody can't take a joke; are they going to report a coworker to a supervisor. Too many people are too sensitive.

Bullying can happen anywhere and we may just not realize it. Most people don't realize when someones being bullied because it's all seen as a joke.

I feel like every women should be guaranteed paid maternity leave. The government constantly wants us to re produce to keep the world going, so they should encourage women that they'll be fine with money and won't have to worry about missing work.

Maternity leave should be a MUST. Pregnancy is tough and the delivery is life changing. Mother's go through all different kinds of changes. It is unfair for a mother to have to go through these changes all while worrying about having to go to work and missing and wondering how her child might be doing.

This is about the abuse that those residing in nursing homes experience. Nursing home workers severely abuse residents by neglecting them and physically abusing them which leads to mental health issues.

I agree that there are bad nursing homes out there. However, there are also amazing nursing homes out there that have excellent staff and owners/operators that have years of experience.
