The education system suffers from many social issues, but the one that stands out to me most is that real life experiences/lessons aren't taught in the standard educational system. Children/young adults are not taught enough about the world around them thus not preparing them for life outside of school.

There are many pros and cons of legalizing marijuana. This site gives a bit of more information on what these pros and cons are. For example, Marijuana is no more harmful to a person's health than alcohol or tobacco, which are both legal and widely used, and regulated by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration, and Some Americans believe that marijuana ingestion is immoral, and that their moral standards should be required of all Americans.

Some of the pros of legalizing marijuana are that it can be taxed, law enforcement could be doing more productive things with their time and that whether one smokes it should be their own decision. Some of the cons include that marijuana could possibly lead to other drugs and that long term use could be harmful.

Whatever the intent of the abortion industry may be, by functional standards, abortion is a racist institution. In the United States, black children are aborted at nearly four times the rate as white children and Hispanic children don't fare much better.

Is privacy real? Google records websites visited on computers to pop up ads, that's how they make their money. Privacy is seeming less like a right and more of a goal. With surveillance of the government are infringing more upon citizens privacy. Why should the government be able to view our emails when Hillary Clinton deletes all of hers and is backed by the FBI?

I completely agree. I feel that privacy is a mere illusion in our society. Just because their is no paper trail, does not mean that there is no digital fingerprint. The government has always been a double-standard in how they have the power to make the rules, and yet they break them. People like Hillary just have more connections and the means to get themselves out of trouble.

This was a very interesting article. It does give a lot of truths about how the goverment has gone behind our backs and gone through people's private information at times. It is not fair at all for the government to be doing something like this without reasonable suspicion and a court order.

Mental health is at a total decline, many high school and college students meet the standard for depression and an anxiety disorder. Even though child labor laws were passed decades ago prohibiting employment of underage youngsters, pockets of oppressive child labor exist, literally, on American soil; child farm laborers work long hours in squalid conditions and often receive half the standard minimum wage.

This is a very strong topic. Mostly because children can't really speak up, and we are the ones that need to do it for them. You're childhood should be something you enjoy and not have to struggle through. And the fact that they are always taken advantage of, with low wages and horrible working conditions, makes it an extreme priority in social justice issues.
