Age is a huge factor when it comes to getting a job in the United States. Although there are laws in place to prevent it, age discrimination still occurs and is a known issue. Those over 50 years old struggle to find a job that would accept them into the workforce as they are seen 'unworkable'. Its studied that those who stay busier at that age have better and improved health and with those that do not develop disabilities earlier on.

This website argues that people should not be forced to retire at 65. The website goes into detail about age concerns and how if the government were to tell people to stop working at the age of 65, that it would breach, at least for the European Court, equality requirements. This website also argues how it could be considered as a discrimination of some sort.

Many children are in foster care. There is a high volume of children who stay in foster care for a long period of time and sometimes "age out". Aging out is when the minor turns 18years of age and is still in foster care. The social justice issue is that these children have a higer chance of going to orison, human trafficking and pregnancy. We need to do something as a society to help these children achieve something in there life. There are so many children who still get abused in the foster system as well. What needs to be done to prevent this from happening? More home visits to foster homes, better screening, and maybe even just a all around better system.

This is a great government website full of material on worker rights. Also this has information on work harassment and (ADEA) The Age Discrimination in Employment Act.

I was researching articles on ageism and this falls right into place with it. I did not about the specific age number that the Age Discrimination Employment Act pertains too so this information was very insightful.

The author Buddy T, is against lowering the drinking age, and he provides some counter arguments for my paper. He argues that if we lowered the drinking age, there would be more car incidents. 

Raising the drinking age to 21 hasn't reduced drinking it gave under age people the urge to drink a lot more then they can consume. When people are viewed as an adult in America by the age of 18 years old, and they can limited to what they can consume, it makes people want to act out.

I think this is a great article. I think for a lot of elderly people the possibility of having their drivers license taken away makes them feel as if they just lost that piece of end independent living. I do agree the elderly should be tested to make sure they aren't at great risks for accidents. This articles speaks about classes older people can take to help them be safer drivers. Long story short. All elders should go through REGULAR testing to continue to drive! These old people are really acting out! This article helps identify lots of points that need to be taken to keep our elders safe!
