It is the right of every human being to be happy. Happiness is the normal condition, as natural as the landscapes and the seasons. Suffering is unnatural and it is due largely to ignorance. Happiness is the product of wisdom. To attain perfect wisdom, to comprehend fully the purpose of life, to realize completely the relationship of human beings to each other, is to put an end to all suffering and to escape most ill. Perfect wisdom is an un-shadowed joy.

What hope is there for children of women who are addicted to drugs? Or homeless? Desperate? They get so absorbed with their misery that they don't pay much attention to the baby they are carrying. Or maybe they care but their lives are so messed up they don't know what it's like to love another human being anymore. We can only give what we have. Elizabeth "Liz" Murray's childhood was riddled with drugs, alcohol, and poverty. It's the kind of childhood that corrupts and molds a problem citizen. Fortunately, Liz did not turn out like her parents. She strove to break the cycle of hopelessness that ran in their family for generations. Despite being homeless, Liz completed high school in two years, won a New York Times scholarship, and made it to Harvard. Now, she inspires people as a motivational speaker and chairs her own company, Manifest Living. As soon as her life got better, she reached out to those who need help.

Because of technology, the role of teachers has shifted to being facilitators and guides. The traditional role of the teacher is evolving, and lecture-based teaching is considered an obsolete approach now. With technology as a part of education, teaching is becoming more personalized. Traditional classrooms will have to change to meet the requirements of high school and college education and prepare students with 21st-century skills.
