I have created a blog on "Health And Fitness" niche last year in which I have shared a useful and easy to understand health and fitness solutions, tips and tricks.

Spin-off from the Facebook group with the same name which some teachers created last year. Most of us are teachers at Escuelas Oficiales de Idiomas, and we like to share ideas, links and debate in Facebook, but we thought that all these posts would be better organized if we had a group so they wouldn't be lost among other entries in our personal Facebook wall. When the group started to grow (there are 92 of us already), we realized that we were missing some kind of categorization, so we thought a blog would do the trick. And here we are. TV can prove to be a vital medium to spread any kind of word. This is what recently happened to a new TV program, which was recently launched in Britian. The program was basically meant to highlight the Islamic history. However things didn't go the way it was expected and a new controversy emerged. The controversy is that the Muslims feel , that words have been minced and misinterpreted regarding the Islamic history. All the guns are actually firing at the author of the program. The first to come into action was the Islamic Education and Research Academy. The academy was of the opinion, that Tom Holland had not taken into consideration the actual facts and realities of the Islamic history. These were actually the highlights of the Daily mail. This unlucky program was shown on Channel 4 , just last week. The program had the title "The untold story." The Muslims were shown to have dressed up in the style of Arabian Tribes. The person who was shown as the historian, had adopted the Indiana Jones attire. The author raised the point that our Holy Prophet (PBUH) had not started his tedious struggle of spreading Islam from Makkah. Another aspect, which the author mentioned was with referencing Islamic historical events with the Quran. The author raised a big question and that how prevalent Islam was during the time of Holy Prophet (PBUH)? Twitter was another medium where this park of anger was ignited. Twitter, Muslim users had a massive reaction towards the author of the program. Muslims condemned Holland at the same time of questioning Islam. 550 complaints were raised and were brought under the notice of Channel 4 and Ofcom. These news of arousal against British programs has become quite common. Another program, that came under immense criticism was "Citizen Khan ", which was again accused of misinterpreting Islam.

Crowd science or citizen science. The idea is to unlock thorny research projects by tapping the time and enthusiasm of the general public. In just the last few years, crowd science projects have generated notable contributions to fields as disparate as ecology, AIDS research, and astronomy. The average layperson becomes a part of a scientific team.

This school year, I made a conscious decision to go paperless. Last year I carried around my computer to every class, a planner and a pen. I constantly lost the pen or the planner. I used a LOT of paper. On top of that, if I wanted to check when I completed a lesson, I'd have to flick through my planner, find the task then find when I started and fished.
