This website is absolutely FANTASTIC! I honestly have had a hard time fulfilling my role as a community member since moving to Eugene. A came here not knowing a single person and starting to attend community events is something I am really looking forward to doing. This really will help me further connect with the community. I also loved that the site did not just have one genre of arts to attend but a multitude of them as well as recreation. All combined together to help express and allow submergence into Eugene culture.

I was recently informed by a friend of this film festival going on this coming weekend, April 10-13! The DisOrient Asian American Film Festival of Oregon returns April 10th, 11th, 12th & 13th, 2014 to the Bijou Art Cinemas in Eugene, Oregon. DisOrient is a social justice film festival dedicated to deconstructing the media stereotypes of Asians and Asian Americans as "Orientals". We believe in the power of film-as-art to educate, heal and improve the lives of people by giving voice to our experiences.

lol, this is really an interesting porject, and I remembered that I did the same 3-d picture once like a few months ago. Those picture need unusual painting skills. It is hard, but is full of fun.

This link is an article about the decision to close down the International Market place in the heart of downtown Waikiki, O'ahu, and transforming the space into a high end retail, Sak's Fifth. Being a frequent visitor to the islands, I find this news pretty sad. I have visited the International market every time I have been downtown to Waikiki because of how unique everything was. There were tons of kiosks with hand-made and high quality products and you could bargain with the owners. I have a good friend that was born without the lower portion of one arm from the elbow down. She laughs when people say she can't do this or that...she can type and text faster than I can, and she was an allstar on her high school softball team. She said the only thing she cant do is twiddle her thumbs and clap her hands, (she has one hand).

Where Digital Meets Nature - Friday June 27 & Saturday June 28 - The Gorge Amphitheatre Paradiso is a really popular music festival to the Pacific Northwest. It is located at the Gorge every year and people from all over the region travel to enjoy 3 weekend camping experience with renown dj's and multiple stages playing live music and overall lively atmosphere.

Paradiso is a really fun event!! My cousin has attened multiple years and was the one who told me to attend. The atmosphere is something very fun and unique from other 3 day fesivals, which I enjoyed.
