The seeds of Instructables germinated at the MIT Media Lab as the future founders of Squid Labs built places to share their projects, connect with others, and make an impact on the world. Hand in Glove is an itinerant national conference, first initiated by Threewalls in Chicago in 2011 and organized by Press Street in New Orleans in 2013. Its further iterations will be held in conjunction with The Network of Artists Spaces and Projects, a coalition of artists and artist organizers working to share resources, ideas and methods for artist-led and artist-centric spaces, projects and practices, of which Threewalls is a founding member. The next Hand in Glove will happen in 2015, date and location TBD.

This is the best translation website I can found. I'm not sure if this is appropriate to share something in another country, but I just found this place interesting to share. Even though the website do not have complete translation but there are brief idea about this place. It is an abandon warehouse that is turn into a showcase center. I have been to this place many times and every time they have a different exhibition going on. And the shop and park around has been decorated into a really inspiriting place for arts.

I saw this website earlier in the year, but remembered it and wanted to share it with the class. Bryan Saunders decided one day that he wanted to create at least one self portrait everyday for the rest of his life, and so far he has completed over 8,000 of them. Okay I am unsure if this qualifies as an art world or anything note worthy. I however thought it was fun and interesting. So I have always heard that animals could "create" art in various ways but i had never seen it. Through looking for another thing to post i stumbled upon this and thought id share! That is a really fun video, I think these paintings could reflect different characteristic of the elephant, and their emotion while they painting, it is really amazing.

3D Pens are pens that extrude liquid plastic which hardens upon extrusion. As opposed to 2D pens that can draw on paper, 3D pens can draw on the air. It's basically a 3D printer's print head without the more expensive assembly for computer control.
