This is my absolute favorite place to spend time during the summer months! The Cuthbert has never disappointed me in terms of quality live music. The concerts are always reasonably priced and are decently regulated for the most part so families can attend. The atmosphere is unlike any other venue in Oregon and I highly recommend making a concert part of your summer agenda if you are living in Eugene this summer. The Willamette Valley Music Festival is an exciting annual event held on the UO campus during the ASUO Spring Street Faire. Wampire After forming Wampire, Rocky Tinder and Eric Phipps steadily began to make a name for themselves in the same Portland, OR, scene that has produced labelmates STRFKR as well as Unknown Mortal Orchestra. It makes sense, then, that Wampire came to Polyvinyl's attention when the duo opened for STRFKR at a hometown Portland show and that UMO's bassist Jacob Portrait produced Wampire's debut full-length, Curiosity.

Sasquatch Music Festival is an annual music festival held at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington. In recent years it has taken place on the Memorial Day weekend, running for three to four days. Sasquatchtypically features a range of musical genres, with the emphasis being on indie rock bands and singer-songwriters, but also including alternative rock, hip hop.

Such great memories from Sasquatch 2013! One of the most amazing venues as well as unforgettable acts, including The XX and Disclosure. I wish I could go again!

Oh also, a note on booking shows -- for the best chance of a successful booking, it's best to have a show already lined up, so like 3-4 bands who are ready to play. It's also best to plan it at least a month in advance. Shows can be done on shorter notice, but there's a much better chance if there aren't many shows planned in the month you want your event to be.

May marks the return of our Concert Production Workshop series! This series will cover the ins and outs of putting on a live concert from both the venue and performer perspective. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about all that goes into putting on a live concert. From booking and promotion to production and band etiquette, these workshops will introduce you to the world of concert production taught by professionals in the field. Whether you are a musician or a fan, a casual observer or a college professor this will strive to give you a spectrum of knowledge for event planning and production as well as the occasional foray into abstract concepts of sound and light. We encourage both adults and youth age sixteen and up to participate. The 12th annual Sasquatch Brew Fest will move back outdoors on Saturday, June 7, 2014 to the 'Fermentation District' in the Ninkasi Brewery distribution parking lot located at 155 Blair Boulevard in Eugene. The craft-beer festival will feature live music by The Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Tatiamo, the Hank Shreve Band, and the Douglas County Daughters.

This is the 12th annual brew fest in Sasquatch. It will be the first one in a couple years to be held outside again which is great for all the nature dwellers. It will be featuring live music good food, and other goodies.

The Block Party will feature 6 bands, 4 DJs, food carts, and an art gallery put together by the Oregon Voice. Several blocks will be shut down for this so you know it'll be good! No open containers because cops can also get in, but there are bars nearby.

The Richmond Night Market is a Asian influenced market and one of the biggest in North America. I visited this market this past weekend while visiting cousins in Vancouver and got enriched in so much culture. Booths were filled with different cultural foods as well as arts. There was also a carnival area as well as a concert stage for different local bands to perform. It goes on all summer long so if your ever in Canada make sure to check this out!
