Eugene Cuthbert Summer Concert Series - 0 views

  •
This is my absolute favorite place to spend time during the summer months! The Cuthbert has never disappointed me in terms of quality live music. The concerts are always reasonably priced and are decently regulated for the most part so families can attend. The atmosphere is unlike any other venue in Oregon and I highly recommend making a concert part of your summer agenda if you are living in Eugene this summer. "A beautiful concert venue with a capacity of 5,000, The Cuthbert Amphitheater offers everyone an opportunity to enjoy live music outdoors during spectacular Oregon summers. Located in Eugene, Oregon at the edge of Alton Baker Park near the University of Oregon's Autzen Stadium, The Cuthbert features superb sound, beer gardens, food booths and an environment perfect for enjoying superb music performed live by the best touring bands in the country."

Wampire After forming Wampire, Rocky Tinder and Eric Phipps steadily began to make a name for themselves in the same Portland, OR, scene that has produced labelmates STRFKR as well as Unknown Mortal Orchestra. It makes sense, then, that Wampire came to Polyvinyl's attention when the duo opened for STRFKR at a hometown Portland show and that UMO's bassist Jacob Portrait produced Wampire's debut full-length, Curiosity.

The Boreal: a new all-ages music/art venue in Eugene - 1 views

  •
The Boreal is a venue I'm volunteering with in an effort to bring more underground music to Eugene. It's located on W. 3rd Ave, between REI and the new skatepark. If you'd like to book a show or art event, of any genre or style, feel free to get in touch with us!
  •
Oh also, a note on booking shows -- for the best chance of a successful booking, it's best to have a show already lined up, so like 3-4 bands who are ready to play. It's also best to plan it at least a month in advance. Shows can be done on shorter notice, but there's a much better chance if there aren't many shows planned in the month you want your event to be.

Richmond Night Market in Vancouver Canada - 0 views

  •
The Richmond Night Market is a Asian influenced market and one of the biggest in North America. I visited this market this past weekend while visiting cousins in Vancouver and got enriched in so much culture. Booths were filled with different cultural foods as well as arts. There was also a carnival area as well as a concert stage for different local bands to perform. It goes on all summer long so if your ever in Canada make sure to check this out!
