Hi folks! Searching on the Internet I have found an interesting article that includes a set of communicative activities that we can develop in the classroom. As we have been studying, one of the big challenges that language teachers face is to promote the skills of speaking and oral interaction. In several of the case studies the teachers express the difficulties they have developing oral language. However, as a language teacher it's really important to know what counts as speaking in language learning and how to promote such skills. I think that these are the advantages of using this kind of activities in the classroom: More exposure to the target language More authentic opportunities to use the foreign language Fun and interesting for learners These activities provides opportunity to use authentic materials Nevertheless, I consider that there is a big problem that we have to take into account: Learners can be resistant, specially if they are accustomed to teacher-centred styles of teaching. Hi mates, I want share a page with you that is really useful for the teachers, I never had listened speak about it. This page going to allow you work of a very easy way the foreign language with very useful watchings, readings, writings, speakings... You will can work with dinamic and motivate activities all the skills with your pupils, I'm sure that the guys will enjoy while they learn. This is a video I think everybody should see. It is the story behind Finland´s educational system. The reason for tagging this video is the general idea you get for their success. It shows us the theory we are studying and the possible application. Although I don´t think it is possible to implement this system in Spain because of the big social and cultural differences it gives you a good idea about how it could be. In the video they talk about the differences, their curriculum, assessment, objectives, planning, tasks, their aims, some activities, the way students are invited to make their own decisions etc. Have a look, it's a real eye opener.

I´ve been fascinated with this documentary. It´s very interesting and amazing the educational process in Finland. Really I would like to learn much of this system, but the first thinking come to my mind is we are years behind. I understand is other culture and society, when they speak about the trust in everybody related with education, is something unthinkable here, by bad luck. This is a very recommendable video, you don´t believe you are going to lose an hour see it. I´ve finished very motivated, and I would want to know more closer this system, if could possible, visiting Finland.

Hello everybody! This is a video about task-based learning in Japan. I think it's very interesting because they have to complete a timetable with cards and these have pictures and short texts. I invite you to see it, because it's no long and it's shows that children can learn a lot by doing, and they can practise speaking skill in a low stress atmosphere in groups.

Hi mates! I have found a very interesting page. I have considered it important because it's something really useful to understand this topic at the three subjects. This page speaks about the scaffolding, we know that it's an element very interesting to our future lessons at the school. In this page you will found some scaffolding techniques that will support us some ways that will help us to bring closer the knowledge to our pupils that at first could be a bit complicated for them.
