Hello class! I've found a page, which I find very interesting to share with you. This can be very useful in the future, and also during the practicum. We all know that one of the best ways to learn is singing. For this reason I've looking on internet for an interesting page of this type. With the songs of Matt, founder and animator of dreamenglish.com, we can get the nursery and primary pupils learn their first words and simple sentences, while singing and having fun. We can found a big variety of songs about prepositions, clothes, body parts, Halloween, Christmas, animals, the time... There are a lot of songs about interesting issues. I hope that you enjoy it! Merry Christmas and happy new year!!

This is an interesting and briefly presentation about some different items that we have studied in that course. For instance, this presentation talks about premises of Curriculum, give definitions about content, objectives, CEFR structure... Also it´s talk in depth about communicative language competences and linguistic domains. For last, it´s talk about the 5 skills and the Common Reference levels o Language Proficiency (A1,A2,B1,B2...) Is very interesting because it teaches you that everything is related. In that website you can find another interesting presentations abour other tasks as portfolio... I would like to finish that summary with the last sentence of the presentation: "Don't be afraid to have an open-minded look to so many unknown and unfamiliar things around us… we have just to try to discover them unconditionally!Success!" I believe that this attitude is that we need to keep improving!!!

Classroom Assessment for Learning - 2 views

  •
Here you have a small article of 5 pages which I found very interesting to share with you. In this article we can find interesting issues about assessment for learning. The article says that: "Classroom assessment that involves students in the process and focuses on increasing learning can motivate rather than merely measure students." When students are active characters of their own education the outcomes are better. Also gives interesting clues about how to involve students in their own teaching-learning process and have a section about effective teacher feedback. Contains reviews of many important authors. I advise my classmates that take a look at this article because it's really interesting.
