  •
Hello Group!!! It's a very good web page and very useful for us. In this PDF we can find information about planning. It answers different questions, like for example, why is planning important, what aspects you have to include in a lesson plan, etc. On the other hand, the guide also explains us five aspects that must be included in a lesson plan: -Learning Objectives -Assessments -Activities -Materials and Resources -Wrap-up and Reflection Finally, the guide includes an appendix with three resources as: Lesson Plan Templates; Sample Lesson Plan and Sample Rubrics. It's very recommendable for young teachers because it explains very well the importance of planning

Teacher Roles - Planning (GROUP 3) - 0 views

  •
Hello again! Teaching, learning and classroom management depends on effective planning. Thanks to planning the teacher receives feedback on the effectiveness of the decisions made during the planning process, and modify and change those decisions when the students require it. Planning is based on values, so it is important that teachers are aware of how their own values can inform decision-making. Besides, this web points out that the main goals of the application of classroom planning function and formulate an effective plan that suggests seven fundamental principles: staff involvement, flexibility, stability, continuity, simplicity, review.

guidelines for foreign language lesson planning - 0 views

  •
I found an interesting article on lesson planning. This article gives us some guidelines and interesting things to think about when planning a lesson such as the grammar knowledge and its effect on fluency. They pay a lot of attention to the importance of fluency activities, something that hasn´t come forward in our classes and that is not taken into account very often in the classroom. And fluency is exactly the reason why we are teaching/learning foreign languages. Fluency is what students need to be able to communicate with native speakers or speakers from other countries.

In recent years, many programmes and projects related to multilingualism have increased and have been implemented in educational centers all over Europe. Many of these programmes are already present in different educational areas in both compulsory and non-compulsory levels. This trend is motivated by the guidelines of the European Union (EU) that directs its work towards a multilingual society. According to the EU, one of the challenges of the current society is to train students to master different languages, to promote intercultural dialogue and a greater social cohesion and integration. The present text provides a sample of a CLIL unit planning procedure to give answer to some of the questions regarding methodology and materials design arising among the bilingual teaching community. Well mates, we think that in this issue we can see a lesson planning procedure to be used in a CLIL primary setting. This is a different methodological approach in current bilingual classrooms. The text provides a planning tool for unit planning for content and language integrated as well a series of strategies aimed at achieving the necessary objectives for successful bilingual teaching. The development of this unit planning procedure allowed the teacher to anticipate to the demands of the students in the necessary tools to develop the tasks assigned for a proper acquisition of content knowledge and language skills.

The Importance of Lesson Plan - 0 views

Hi Classmates :) I want to share with you this page because I find it very interesting and I really like because Emil Gen explains very well the importance of the lesson planning. Like she said If the trademark of a doctor is the sthethoscope, the engineer is the calculator, the teacher cannot be able to teach without his or her lesson plan. Our lesson plan is one of the most important parts of our work and we should be familiar with it. I hope you like it!

the Finland Phenomenon - 3 views

This is a video I think everybody should see. It is the story behind Finland´s educational system. The reason for tagging this video is the general idea you get for their success. It shows us the theory we are studying and the possible application. Although I don´t think it is possible to implement this system in Spain because of the big social and cultural differences it gives you a good idea about how it could be. In the video they talk about the differences, their curriculum, assessment, objectives, planning, tasks, their aims, some activities, the way students are invited to make their own decisions etc. Have a look, it's a real eye opener.

I´ve been fascinated with this documentary. It´s very interesting and amazing the educational process in Finland. Really I would like to learn much of this system, but the first thinking come to my mind is we are years behind. I understand is other culture and society, when they speak about the trust in everybody related with education, is something unthinkable here, by bad luck. This is a very recommendable video, you don´t believe you are going to lose an hour see it. I´ve finished very motivated, and I would want to know more closer this system, if could possible, visiting Finland.

Planning Classroom Procedures (GROUP 3) - 0 views

Hi fellows! This web talks about the importance of knowing the characteristics and features of our future students. According to the author, we should use a classroom seating chart in order to learn the names of the students fairly quickly, because remembering the students' names right in the beginning of the school year helps to develop a more personal and direct contact. On the other hand, the article emphasizes that we should teach and remind students at all times of the class procedures: * Listening to instructions before being directed to performing a task given. * During the work task Procedures. * Terminating the task on-hand. See you!
