Is it too much to offer that if I use Firefox16.0.1 to highlight text on a web page that if I open the same page in Chrome 22.0.1229.94 m that the same hightlighting would show up? Well it doesn't! Firefox16.0.1 is using 5.1.0.33 of the toolbar and Chrome is using 1.7.1.

In Chrome when I reload the page http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5262 I see no highlighting even though I am logged into Diigo. When I click on the Diigo: Bookmark, Archive, Highlight & Sticky-Note 1.7.1 icon in the Chrome toolbar I see a whole bunch of hightlighting.

Then if I go to Firefox 16.0.1 and go to the same page and reload the page I see different hightlighting than what Chrome is showing, a lot less in fact. In neither browser can I remove any of the highlighting. What the heck is going on Diigo???

I am using Chrome on Win7 release version and ScriptNo to block unwanted scripts. I have noticed numerous times that a page will load without all of the other garbage scripts like Facebook and Twitter etc running. However when I go and tell Diigo Chrome extension to bookmark the page I get "Page still loading.. please wait". Only way I can get around this is to allow all of the scripts to run.

One such site is http://windowsteamblog.com/windows/b/windowsexperience/archive/2012/03/08/getting-around-in-windows-8.aspx which Diigo will not bookmark if I do not allow the 3 Facebook scripts and the 1 Twitter page to run.

The following website can not be bookmarked in Chrome 16.0.912.63 m andDiigo: Bookmark, Archive, Highlight & Sticky-Note1.6.8 on Win7 x64. However Firefox has no such problems

Is there a known problem with Firefox Diigo Toolbar 5.1.032 and not being able to highlight text on ebay auction description pages for a product ?

Sorry I could not find the page I was on. I would see a small notice in the upper left corner of my Firefox browser saying that the selection could not be highlighted.

Not working via Bookmark Page via toolbar in FFox beta 9. The Bookmark window comes up but it says "Loading Recommended Tags.." but never completes. Using 5.1.0.31. Sigh.

Oh geez. Its an ongoing struggle to stay with Diigo Is there any way of disabling that loading option? Probably not I bet.

Well the probably appears to be fixed in FF8 but not in FF9+

Is it me or is the development /improvements to Diigo's browser addons, particularly the Chrome version become stagnant? Over in their feed back section there are requests for changes for ove a year now and nothing has been done with them. After using Firefox for years and its Diigo addon I must say I find the Diigo Chrome addon more difficult to use that its Firefox counterpart.

The Diigo blog has no new announcements on the browser fronts since March.
Perhaps its time for me to see what else is out there.

Well I would suggest moving Diigo Community and Feedback over to a service like Getsatisifaction so that requests for help and Feedback do not get lost. Right now under the Comments for feedback items it is filled with spammers that no one regularly removes spam from.

I have given up using Diigo Feedback area as its a haven for spammers. I must of deleted 30 spam messages from one thread I foolishly subscribe notifications enabled on it. Seems no one from Diigo monitors any of the posts over there. Sign.

Is it just me or is there a problem with the sort order of the topics in Diigo Community? I click on Most Recent and seems that the posts have no rhyme or reason how they are sorted. Posts who last activity is in 2010 are showing up before posts from 2011.
I use Getsatisfaction website for support from other companies and frankly I find their layout easier to find posts that are current.

I am not talking about bookmarks. I am talking about posts here in the Diigo Community when one has Sort By Most Recent enabled. There does not see to be any reson why threads who have had no activity since 2010 are showing up BEFORE posts from 2011. For example "Privacy: no option 'private' when adding a comment at a www.tipb.com page " is showing up before threads from 2011.

In my previous post I mentioned the "Privacy: no option 'private' when adding a comment at a www.tipb.com page" thread all of the dates of the two posts in that thread show 2010. There are no 2011 dates in that thread yet it is showing up ahead of threads from 2011.

Or are you saying that if a post from 2 years ago is Liked By someone ELSE in the Community then that post/thread goes to the top of the posts that I see when they are Sort By Most Recent even if none of the dates in any of the posts of the thread are months old?

Is there no way in Google Chrome to assign keyboard shortcuts to show a sidebar and to allow bookmarking like one can in Firefox

I still find Diigo and Google Chrome browser is excruciating to use when searching for tags even after enabling search via the URL bar. Seems Diigo new features have stalled. I may just go back to Firefox and save the headaches.

When one uses the bookmark window to bookmark a site after clicking on the Save button the window remains open. Why doesn't it close so that you know that Diigo has saved the bookmark?

Is no one else using Firefox 4 beta having this annoying problem?

Ok good I am not the only one having this problem with FFox beta. I too had problems with b11 and b12 and do not think it worked properly with any of the Firefox betas.

Do not know if its me but compared to Diigo extension and Firefox I find it frustrating to use Diigo bookmarklet (since no official extension exists) in Google Chrome.
There are no shortcut keys to bookmark a site nor a popout sidebar. As far as I can tell there is no way of searching for tags on Diigo requiring me to actually go to diigo.com in Chrome

Thanks for the tip. I already have that extension installed. I came across a patched version of the extension that has the hard coded CTL-B to bookmark a site but that has to be reinstalled each time Google Chrome is updated which becomes a pain.

I could of swore that I had started a post here 2 days ago regarding importing from Delicious and not being notified whether the import request was queued or not. As well several other people posted replies and I added additional replies to their posts. However now I can not find that thread.

Are posts being removed??

It is going on 3 days for my import. As I received no notification that the first request was queued I requested another import and I hope the heck that I do not wind up with duplicates.
