My frustration is only magnified by the contact app not working as well. Every effort to send a message receives the same "captcha error" message. My typing may be bad, but not that bad!
I'm just another user like you and have been using Diigo for a short time. I'm intrigued by it's features but disappointed with the problems I and so many others are having.
Sorry about the array of problems you are having, but thanks for your input and letting it be known that you have had problems going on for weeks now.
I hope the Diigo support people are continuing to read these posts so they realize the extent of the problems people are having and begin to resolve them.
We're avid Diigo users ourselves as well. We've identified the tagging / server access issues caused by a conflict with a new backend system (a new release will be forthcoming shortly) and working to resolve ASAP. Rest assured that your data is fine.
Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks for your patience and understanding while we get these fixed ASAP. The entire diigo team is working hard to make diigo better and better. Not only will we get the fix done soon, a new release will be rolled out shortly! Stay tuned!

Not a big deal, but equally I would think easy to implement: it would be nice if I did not have to rummage around in the forum to find updates on known issues -- indeed to find out whether the Diigo team is aware of a particular issue.
A blog/status page with known issues and their status would be very helpful.
Although I was motivated to write it after participating in this thread, I purposefully left bugs out of the review because they should be temporary problems.

Since I was the first to complain when it wasn't fixed properly, I'll be the first to confirm that it's finally fixed now.
The number next to the tag in the "My Tags" box still does not accurately represent the number of bookmarks returned, but that's an unrelated problem, right? Where's the thread for this issue?
Also, I've renamed my "addon" tag to "addons" and "addon" is still in the "My Tags" box. Clicking on it returns "no bookmarks tagged ...", but that's not the same as the problem that started this thread since there really aren't any bookmarks with that tag.
I'd like to second Bill Hooker's suggestion that you implement some sort of known bugs/status page.
Display search results next to google search results. I already do this for delicious and twitter. It is great. Anything I search for, I see google, delicious and twitter results at the same time (see here for an example: http://mt-hacks.com/20090302-realtime-twitter-search-results-on-google.html). I would love to see my bookmarks searched too (I often search for things forgetting I have already looked them up, this makes me aware of that).
Could you implement the callback wrapper on the existing Diigo API? I can write a GM script which I would be happy for you to put on the website.
It's probably best to create a separate topic for each issue, with a clear subject line. From a tracking perspective, an individual suggestion is easier to follow/progress than a mixture.
I'll start using the system you've outlined above. That demonstrates excellent use of the resources we have with Diigo and the Diigo forums. It's not really the right tool for the job, but I think you know that already (I liked your Trac idea).

Thanks for the response!

Off-topic from tags: I had some problems with images (including CAPTCHA images) a few days ago, http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/topic/problems-with-some-pictures-avatars-and-captcha-44373 but they didn't last for long, and my problems may have been unrelated to Diigo service.

That is probably a separate issue, please see previously reported http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/topic/tags-not-deleting-43127

Ghod, I bookmarked your article and will try to solve most issues.

@ fullness Time: that is not related to tags, please create a separate topic for your subject. Thanks.

Please see:
* Bugs
* Resolutions
* Suggestions
* announcements: services unavailable or at risk; scheduled and unscheduled
* Communicating the Diigo Roadmap
* Trac for Diigo bugs, tasks and improvement suggestions?.

@ Bruce: whatever the problem was here, it was resolved by Diigo.
Whatever problem you have, must be new or separate. Please could you start a new topic, with relevant detail? Thanks.
This topic is already very long, and discusses a mixture of things. It's very difficult to track mixtures.
