Hi Glenn, It is a built-in feature. You can access your unread bookmark in FF. FF menu bar ==> Diigo menu ==>Unread bookmark. Once you click one unread bookmark, it will be removed from the menu and marked as read automatically.
Wow, how did I miss that? That will work for me. Thanks.

I assume from this answer that there is not actually an RSS feed of unread bookmarks?

I am also looking for an RSS feed of "unread" diigo bookmarks. I want to use this to feed a Pluckr channel.

Joel - an RSS feed for unread items would be very useful. I'd like to pull unread items in Google Reader (for example). Any idea on implementation timescale? Thanks, Craig
In the absence of RSS tailored to private unread bookmarks, I often apply the tag unread to bookmarks that are unread. RSS aside, compact view (simple display mode) offers a view of your library that users may find easier on the eye.

http://www.diigo.com/user/jaredstein?tab=1
http://www.diigo.com/user/seanbrady?tab=1
et cetera - it'll work for your view of your own bookmarks, but not for other people's.
Hint: at 'My Bookmarks', hover over each of the tabs :)
Postscript: sorry, I was assuming that for each tab, the feed would be different. Evidently not. The RSS feed is a less filtered view.
