The NAEA is great website that expands your knowledge about an art education career and a great example of the standard 6.4: Candidates use technology in their own learning process and to change their current educational practice. It provides learning opportunities for current and future art educators to expand their knowledge and to better their classroom. The community part of the website allows art educators from all over the USA to share ideas and strategies for their classroom. There are also grants and opportunities for students and teachers to earn money or more knowledge about art education. The learning tab gives lesson plan ideas. Last, the best part about this website is that it helps you start your career by finding a job.  

Mentormob is a project sharing website that shares learning playlist. Each learning playlist contains great tools, websites, and information for that particular topic. Mentormob is great for educators because they can learn from others playlists' and get new ideas. Teachers can also create a playlist of their own to teach lessons to their students. This website is an excellent way to effectively use technology in the classroom.

This website offers important information for teachers, parents, and students on internet safety. This site includes tutorials for parents on what to watch for when their child is using the internet, tips for teachers to share this information with students, and interactive videos for children to learn the importance of safety on the internet. This website is useful for teachers and students because you never know what kinds of things are lurking on the internet, and children should be informed on what types of things to allow and not allow.

Metryx provides the teacher with an assessment program that allows him or her to make a personalized plan for the student. It meets the 6.3 standard by using technology to analyze data to make a knowledgeable choice regarding decisions for the classroom.

This website provides unlimited materials to teachers, students, and parents. It encourages improvment in every subject area through worksheets, games, posters, etc. This is fun and very helpful.

This website gives resources for technology materials to enhance student learning. The website breaks down in to subject materials and then goes into lesson topics inside the different subjects. This website also offers teaching tips and more!

This Youtube channel mixes modern songs and historical events, making tricky subjects, such as the French Revolution, into a catchy, memorable study tool. Teachers can meet standard 6.1 by incorporating these songs as a type of instructional technology to help facilitate learning in the classroom.

This is a great website with many fun games. It addresses standard 6.1 because students can get hands on experience through playing the many games. It has virtually every subject and has various levels from beginner to expert. 6.1 Candidates integrate instructional technology to facilitate learning in their classrooms, to supplement instructional strategies, to design instructional materials, and to enhance hands-on experiences and problem solving.

I found that this website could be quite beneficial for Students of all ages; especially those who struggle with technology. The site offers tons of tools to help students technologically in all subjects and points of emphasis in education. For example, there are tools for creating powerpoints, writing papers, and making music just to name a few. I am excited to show my classroom students this helpful tool!

Knowledge adventure is a great way for students to get hands on experience in many subjects. There are games and activities for each subject and grade level. The games are fun and addicting. This is a great way for struggling students to gain extra practice in areas that they typically have trouble with.

This site offers hands on learning for all subjects, I only bookmarked the reading page because that is what I want to teach.

Turtle Diary is a great way for students to get their hands-on experience in the many subjects they are learning. There are games for the students, but also worksheets that go with the games for the teachers to print out for them to do when not able to get on the computer. This website is focused on the lower levels of PreK thru 2nd.

* Teaching Channel is a great place for teachers to go to watch videos about common core standards or lessons from other teachers. It is free and it has so many things that are beneficial to teachers. You can bookmark different videos or lesson plans so that you can go back to them whenever you want to. You have a question and answer board so that you can ask questions to other teachers or answer questions that other teachers have asked. You can choose your subject and grade level and the website will notify you of new videos that are related to your subject interests.

This website has a multitude of different pages which encompasses nearly every subject a History Teacher will ever teach.

Standard 6.2 is:Candidates select and use grade-level and content-specific technology resources, including assistive technology, to increase student participation in the total curriculum. With collaborize classroom I feel is one website that can really help students participate more with their classmates. Especially for students taht are shy and do not like to talk in front of others.

Cookie is educational website designed by child experts and educators to assist in building skills that are needed for success in school. Games, videos, crafts, stories, and even access to blogs are available to students to expand on their learning even after school hours. There is a options available for sorting content by grade level from grades Pre K - 2nd, making the website a great candidate for Standard 6.2.

I chose this website because I think it is a great tool for students, teachers, and parents. It collects all recent and popular sites that are useful to a range of people. I found it very neat to be able to go to one site to find what is new and current, so it would make it easy to stay familiar with new websites of today. It meets standard 6.4 because I think this will help teachers and students change their current educational practice or just use this as additional material.
