Quizlet is a website that allows the teacher and students to study topics via quizzes, flash cards, etc.

Quizlet is an online learning tool for students and teachers that lets the user study a variety of subjects for free. It allows teachers to create quizzes and practice questions for their students based upon the material being taught in class. Students can then go online and take these quizzes or complete these practice questions to study. Quizlet can be used both inside and outside of the classroom and provides both teachers and students with a fun and interactive method of integrating technology into learning.

Teacher scholastic provides many activities for any grade level and subject area. This applies to standard 6.1 because it allows teachers and students to use technology in the classroom to do different activities and/or practice what they are learning so they can learn the material better and the teacher can teach it more efficiently.

The NAEA is great website that expands your knowledge about an art education career and a great example of the standard 6.4: Candidates use technology in their own learning process and to change their current educational practice. It provides learning opportunities for current and future art educators to expand their knowledge and to better their classroom. The community part of the website allows art educators from all over the USA to share ideas and strategies for their classroom. There are also grants and opportunities for students and teachers to earn money or more knowledge about art education. The learning tab gives lesson plan ideas. Last, the best part about this website is that it helps you start your career by finding a job.

Web-based for anytime, anywhere learning. 6.1 Candidates integrate instructional technology to facilitate learning in their classrooms, to supplement instructional strategies, to design instructional materials, and the enhance hands-on experiences and problem solving. I felt like this website met the standards of 6.1. This is a great resource for teachers and parents who are teaching math or science. There are a variety of lesson plans as well as interactive "gizmos" that will help students learn. Students can do the interactive portion and then be asked to complete the lesson plan. It's such a helpful site that will benefit the students and teachers.

ABC ya! is a great website to incorporate technology in your classroom. This website includes fun games and enrichment activities for Elementary schools Kindergarten through fifth grade. After a student has completed their assignment, they can log on to this site and do grade based activities that are fun and educational. All of these games are free to play.

ABCya.com is the leader in free educational kids computer games and activities for elementary students to learn on the web. All children's educational computer activities were created or approved by certified school teachers. All educational games are free and are modeled from primary grade lessons and enhanced to provide an interactive way for children to learn.

ABCYa.com is an interactive children's website, loaded with fun games and activities to help children learn and practice reading, math, grammar, spelling, history, geography and more. This site is free and there are tons of games to choose from, and you choose the grade level to play them at. At the end of each game the easy to read results give you a clear understanding of how you did in the game and where you need more practice at. I will be introducing this site to my own children, and will incorporate it into my classroom for my students as well. I highly recommend this site.

Gamequarium is an online interactive website with games and worksheets to supplement the instructional strategies that the students learned in class. This website also provides teachers with access to lesson plans and teaching tips on how to teach students, Teachers also get access to information about the importance and saftey of internet access and different ways to include instructional technology into the classroom such as YouTube.Gamequarium is an educational website that supplements the instruction of both teachers and students via hands-on technology.

Interactive learning Sites for the Classroom. This is a great way to get children involved in classroom interaction. This is a fun website with many different games and such. It almost like a big video game on the computer for learning all different subjects.

Mentormob is a project sharing website that shares learning playlist. Each learning playlist contains great tools, websites, and information for that particular topic. Mentormob is great for educators because they can learn from others playlists' and get new ideas. Teachers can also create a playlist of their own to teach lessons to their students. This website is an excellent way to effectively use technology in the classroom.

Thought I'd share an RSS feed from one of my favorites, NPR. This series reminds us why we WANT to be teachers. Here's NPR's blurb: You may have already heard of StoryCorps, the American oral history project on NPR. Two people sit down in a studio and talk, telling stories about their lives, and the people at StoryCorps record and archive the conversation. StoryCorps is honing in on lessons about learning with a new project for the academic year, called the National Teachers Initiative.

This is a good website that can help students with math. It gives them fun games from learning how to count to doing fractions. It gives good directions that are easy to understand. It's a fun way for students to learn math and it will make them want to learn.

This website helps teachers to keep students and parents updated on assignments and announcements in the classroom. It shows examples of teachers own websites. They can post things like calendars, homework assignments, supply list, and so much more! It is $39.99 a year to be apart of this website.

This is a fun website teachers can use to help their kids learn through song. There are so many wonderful songs ranging in grade level and subject. I think it is a great tool because many students can learn and remember lessons easier when there is a catchy song to go along with it. I remember learning the Presidents through a song (which is also on this website) and it has helped me so much in history classes. There is also a really cute song called P-P-P-Punctuate.

The newer rap song to memorize the presidents is really catchy! Hopefully that one will keep adding stanzas as more presidents come into office!

This website is useful for teachers in grades K-5. It is a site that aligns lessons with Common Core Standards for individual learning for each student. This website gives personalized lessons for each student and the teacher can view student progress and make comments to students throughout their course of learning. It is a great assistive technology to reinforce concepts that have been introduced in the classroom.
