Something that I have been interested in learning more about has been Alcohol. I remember my Uncle drinking Beer at a party. And I remember him telling people that Beer is the best thing to drink. At that time, I didn't know what he meant by that. Lately, the issue has caught my eye again. I know that many people feel that Alcohol is not really bad for men and women. From what I have heard, Alcohol is bad for people.For example, I heard that alcohol damages your body and brain. Now that's just what I've heard, it may or may not be true. One thing that I know for sure about Alcohol is that it's really harmful for Teenagers. Now I've studied my share of Medicine, and I believe that Alcohol is bad for everyone that drinks it every day in their life. It affects their brain and body. I also know that if your drink a lot of alcohol like beer, you have a great possibility of getting fat. And this is true because my Uncle got fat throughout time. And Why? Because he kept drinking beer. Personally, it's funny to me how people know the effects on alcohol and they keep on consuming it. Alcohol wasn't important to me in the past, because I'm not suppose to be learning about Alcohol when I'm only six years old. What I know about Alcohol is that it makes you act in a bad way. It damages your body. Alcohol makes you feel like in pain. Being that I didn't have a lot of background information on Alcohol, I chose to do some research on the topic. I been researching about smoking and its effects. There are a lot of effects and they are terrible. One of them is "Cancer of the lungs, troubles in the respiratory system as well as heart diseases are only few of the illnesses you can obtain from constantly smoking cigarette. These hazards of smoking are intensifying every year." People should stop smoking especially for their love ones. My grandpa smokes and I dont like seeing him do that. I tell him everytime to stop but he doesnt listen and the reason is because he is addicted to it. This is the biggest effect of smoking , is that you can get addicted to it and its hard for one to stop. There are help for people who wants to quit but sometimes its hard.

I'm learning more about smoking right now, and in particular what I'm wondering about is: What are the effects of smoking on you? I was researching this question online, and this blog post caught my attention because of the title. In the blog post, it lists 5 reasons to stop smoking. It lists 5 effects of smoking on smokers. This quote from the post caught my attention: "Every smoker knows that smoking can cause cancer and heart disease. Other effects of smoking on mind and body are less well-publicised but can be equally disastrous." What this quote is saying is very true. When you ask a person what can happen to you when you smoke, they would be like cancer. But no, there are much more disasters to you and the body. This is very important.

Have you ever felt like you need to go shopping and shopping everyday until you brought everything you wanted? Something that I have been interested in learning more about has been Shopaholics. I remember seeing this movie last year that made me wonder about people who are Shopaholics. Lately, the issue has caught my eye again. I know that many people feel that being Shopaholic is really bad because it damages your living style. From what I have heard, being Shopaholic isn't something bad. It's just a way of being. You just shop and shop. It's not like if you creating a crime. I know that it's like a sickness that can't make you stop. But if it's really affecting your life then you have to give that up. For example, I heard that Shopaholic is more like able to be out of control. Shopping does not only effect the shopper it also effects family members, spouses, loved ones and friends. Many times married over active spenders will be divorced and in debt before they can control their spending habits. Now that's just what I've heard, it may or may not be true. One thing that I know for sure about is that Shopaholics do suffer a lot when it comes to money. Many Shopaholics end up having a big amount of budget. And I also know that Compulsive shopping is a serious condition that affects thousands of people's lives in America. Another fact that I know is that one major key to successfully overcoming compulsive shopping is simply taking responsibility for ones own actions. Stop denying the problem and or blaming others. Shopaholics who truly want help need to say enough is enough. Once a shopaholic realizes that shopping is just not worth the troubles that are caused from shopping excessively things get much easier. Make the decision to change and change will come. I'm learning more about Food Security right now, and in particular what I'm wondering about is: Is this a problem of politics or science? I'm learning more about food security in Africa right now, and in particular what im wondering about is Why is food security such a big thing in Africa. i was researching this question online and this news article caught my attention because Mr.Allison myi english teacher pointed it out to me.\n\n"She continues to till her field with a hand hoe, using seed saved from previous harvests, and applying a teaspoonful of fertiliser per maize plant. This website is a very important one and will help me write my isearch. This article talks about how global warming is melting Antarctica and how it effects its animals and their habitats. This information will be very helpful to me since the other websites do not talk about how animals are effected by global warming very much. This website also shows pictures to support their facts and they are quite interesting. I am looking forward to writing my isearch paper now that I have so much information about my topic.

I'm learning more about "food security" right now, and in particular what I'm wondering about is: what really caused this problem. I was researching this question online, and this article, "Why Globing Warming Portends a Food Crisis" caught my attention because it made me realize the connection between two big global issues. The quote I chose here is basically saying as the temperatures on this planet becomes higher and higher, more and more food is going to be damaged. I think this is really serious because we all would die without food. It makes me wonder what would happen if the temperatures keep going up and causing more serious food security issue. I hope there would be a way to solve these problems.

Given the effects previous wildfires occur and with droughts happening the risk is even higher for wildfires to begin and start. This podcast was very interesting to listen to. It deals with the grossing effect of extreme horror as it explores how people love to watch films like these. It brings the question who are the REAL crazy people in this world? David Poland, a film critic says that after watching Hostel II, he felt that, "I think that we've crossed some sort of line."
