Find the WORDS :P - 0 views

To be honest, this game does not depend on the level of the students :) It is more important to be observant and to be able to see what you look at. It asks to find words from letter-mixture. My sister and I tried this game and it was a real fun :D! Try that and if you can find all the words.

This is a very good site for language learners and teachers. It includes video materials and relevant worksheets for each video material. Students can watch the films, and work with those worksheets. This site helps to improve all four skills which is very important in EFL\ESL settings.

Fable "The tortoise and the hare",puzzle activity - 3 views

This was the activity which i would recommend to intermediate. learners. It would be reasonable to give them questions beforehand in order to concentrate their attention span on their listening. In this way they would be able to absorb the information more thoroughly.

I tried this activity with my 9-year-old student of beginning level.Children at this age irrespective of their proficiency level are eager to listen to any tales. It helps her to product her speeh usiin the limited stock of vocabulary, even separate words. But her excitement and willingness empowered her to solve the appropriate puzzle based on the fable.

Story maker - 5 views

This is a good source for using a simple story to motivate pre-school and first beginning students to learn English. It's easy to choose pictures and creates a story even for a 5 year old kid. My 5 years old daughter got encouraged when recognized that she made it by herself. If it's being used often children would be able to recognize words as a whole; without having the ability of reading the individual letters.

Oh Armine jan it was a very interesting game. I played it twice. It really helps the students to promote their reading skills, as well as their creativity. And the most intersting part was the last part when I was reading the story about me. I liked it very much...:)

This game would better serve for teenagers as it is not colorful or elaborate. It will help improve skills in adjective-synonyms. Learners can practice the vocabulary learned from other sources via this game.

LETTER FALL Game - 3 views

I tried the game out, and I think it's a nice activity for developing spelling through listening to the word and catching the letters one by one so that to get the whole word. It's useful for children who already have some command of English.

Fruit Game - 3 views

  •
This is a very good game for ESL begginers to practice their knowledge. This game also allows them to make direct connections between the names of fruits and numbers. I tried it with 8 students from my EEC Prep2 course and it worked very good. At first they /ss/ failed to win the fruitmaster /computer/ but after playing two or more times, they were able to win. Through this game, Ss uncounciously learn the names of fruits!!!! I would advise everybody to pilot this game with beginner students.

Find the Hidden Animal - 3 views

  •
This game is designed for low intermediate EFL learners. The game is very interesting one, becuase the player is motivated to guess the hidden animal until it appears in full picture (there are three choices for each hidden animal and when the player chooses one of them, the computer either makes green or red line in the word and also pronounces that word). So, this game can also help learners gain right pronunciation skills. I used this game with my neighbour (11-year-old boy) and he was interested in guessing the pictures and tried to pronounce the word after the computer prounced them. I would suggest ESL teachers to use it because it enhanced my neighbour's vocabulary and improves his pronunciation. skills.
