An interesting game for children aged from 6 to 8, to develop vocabulary. On the screen, there is 2 short list morphemes, that one should connect the dots in order to form compound words. Once all the words are done correctly, you may go to the next level.

This game can be used to teach word order of sentences. I tried the medium mode of the game with my sister (a beginner EFL learner). It helped my sister to internalize the basic patterns of word order in English.

Knowing synonyms is important for L2 language learners in order not to repeat the same words in writing or in speaking. Although it is designed for the elementary level, I advise this activity for intermediate level because I experimented with children in elementary level I saw that the words are a little bit more sophisticated.

I used these dialogs with my brother, who wanted to improve his English. Generally speaking he wanted to listened to native speakers speech and daily conversations. During the listening I didn't show the transcript of the dialogs in order to check whether he understood the meaning. To tell the truth there were some unknown words and expressions even for me. He could get the main meaning of the dialogs, however there were words and expressions that were quite difficult for him to understand. So, to solve the problem I used the vocabulary list written below.

A very interactive game for kids. The players should enter their names to be praised for their good jobs. I tried it with my six-year-old son. It was useful to revise colours, study some new words, listen to their exact description and put them into the correct order.

This is a wonderful activity for developing students' listening, reading (skimming and scanning), speaking skills, as well as increasing vocabulary. it contains variety of activities which are based on the listening. Though the level was lower I have decided to try. In order to help them I wrote down the words/expression that they might be unknown and discussed them before listening. Then they listened to the audio but still had difficulties to understand completely what the audio was mainly about. In order to solve the misunderstanding I have decided to give the transcripts to read while listening (It helped much to understand). I used the third activity to check whether they could scan and skim the information (they could as I guess reading helped them very much). The last activity was a multiple choice activity where the students should look at the given idioms and choose the best meaning. Suggestion- If your students are not high intermediate/advanced the process will be slowed down. Just use transcript and after listening discuss the text. It will help.

This game helped my EFL learners not only practice the days and the weeks but also their right order.

This game serves better for upper elementary learners as they have to possess certain vocabulary in order to read the riddles and match them to the corresponding words. I have piloted this game with my 17-18-year-old students of that level and it worked very well.

This game can be useful for low intermediate students.Children can learn what kinds of words to use in order to create an atmosphere suitable for a chosen topic. This interactive activity also helps students to enlarge their vocabulary.

This was the activity which i would recommend to intermediate. learners. It would be reasonable to give them questions beforehand in order to concentrate their attention span on their listening. In this way they would be able to absorb the information more thoroughly.

I tried this activity with my 9-year-old student of beginning level.Children at this age irrespective of their proficiency level are eager to listen to any tales.It helps her to product her speeh usiin the limited stock of vocabulary, even separate words. But her excitement and willingness empowered her to solve the appropriate puzzle based on the fable.

Students should put the words in order to make correct questions.This activity will reinforce the learners ability to make correct sentences. This is very interactive and helpful activity.
