A course on how to build an audience in social media. Excellent professional development resource for teachers and librarians wanting to build an audience within their social media. The entire "course" would be a large time investment, but many of the resources for the course could be used for staff development.

CrashCourse videos are openly available on YouTube. This links to the Intellectual Property playlist with 7 videos. Starting this fall, the English 9 teacher and I will be teaming up and using portions of the 9-12 digital citizenship lessons offered in the Scope & Sequence section. He is extremely charismatic and understands the importance of being a positive role model to your students. This is the kind of person we should all aspire to become.

TED Talks are awesome resources that can be used in the classroom and beyond. I found this playlist on the autism spectrum and think it would be great for a professional development session in conjunction with a course from someone at pupil services. I see this as very helpful for teachers who want to know more about autism and connect with their students who fall on the spectrum.

Some of the most popular subject areas are: Computer Service, Language, Data Science, Business and Management, Engineering, and Humanities. There are tons more to choose from. Online courses can be taken for free. These could be used for professional development opportunities. I especially liked "The Foundations of Happiness at Work". : )
