This is a great way to organize all of your resources online. It looks very interesting and you can get good resources from the featured binders that are on the site.

I love live binders. I created one for each of the classes I teach. It is easy to add information, the class notes and handouts, links for extra practice, etc. Students can easily get to it from anywhere.

Smore is an online Web 2.0 tool used to create online brochures which are interactive and easy to make.

This tool allows you to create an online portfolio that your students can take pictures of their work and add it to their portfolio, which you can access for free online.

Sabine, With regards to cost, it is free. I am unsure about how much storage that they give you to use on the site. That was something that was not talked about at the conference where I discovered the tool.

What I like about it is the instant progress report! I use the gradebook of BlackBoard and I don't think that they have this feature.

Many free sites for portfolios. A wonderful way to measure student growth through oout the school year. It gives students a way to measure their own learning and identify weaknesses and strengths

This is a FREE language teaching MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) where language teachers can meet, learn, share, and explore. Great use of google groups for promoting dialogue.   Twitter on steroids.  

A nice site for both students and teachers of French, German, Spanish and Welsh.  Click on Resources at the top of page to access language content.  Be sure to then click on the links on the left for individual language content.  Videos seem to be promising - especially for French. 

This self-assessment takes you through a survey and gives you feedback at the end about how prepared you are to carry out an online course and what you have to do in order to be fully prepared.

LanguageGuide.org is an online language learning resource available in numerous languages ranging from English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, German, Dutch, Turkish, Arabic, Russian, Mandarin, Japanese, to Korean. This illustrated vocabulary guide contains sound-integrated exercises at three levels -- beginner, intermediate, and advanced, and allows for independent practice at the learner's own pace. These practice exercises are appropriate for elementary and middle school students and this resource would be well suited on a teacher webpage. Thematic topics vary by language but generally include numbers, parts of the body, clothing, food, animals, weather, home, and school. There is an option menu on each screen for listening, speaking, and reading practice, as well as a quiz for students to check their comprehension. Some languages also feature a Grammar and Readings section for more advanced learners.

A free online infographic program which is easy to use to display data.  You can include illustrations, upload excel charts or use the ones provided, download the infographic you create, share and embed the finished product. Easy to use for those not skilled with excel programs with some fun extras.

ACTFL's Assessment of Performance Towards Proficiency (AAPPL) is an online assessment that incorporates audio & video in "real-life" task situations. Teachers can register their students. Approximate cost is $20 per student. Students receive feedback like which proficiency level they are currently showing and strategies to get to the next level.
