Create a free account on this French language website so you have access to all the great videos, articles and "dossiers". For example, there's a one minute animated video that explains why we have the 1 hour time change this weekend. Great for high school level French students.
A nice site for both students and teachers of French, German, Spanish and Welsh. Click on Resources at the top of page to access language content. Be sure to then click on the links on the left for individual language content. Videos seem to be promising - especially for French.
a really good review of the French vs. English numbers, especially how to count at 70 and above. A look at transcribing telephone numbers and the comma vs decimal point.
This is an awesome YouTube channel by Sylvia Duckworth. I would use her Chansons au Powerpoint to pre-teach vocabulary and then reinforce the learning with the music/PowerPoint combination. Other videos offer a plethora of topics that can be used in your classroom. Her use of GoAnimate inspires me to have my students create similar projects to tell stories. Although in French, the ideas are easily used in Spanish and other WL classrooms.
This website, in English, is a great place to find the names of currently popular French musicians and songs. Some videos are embedded. Teachers could select songs to exploit in class, or they could direct students there to discover new music.
This project is listed on the ePals website and is my choice for the Global Networks activity. The languages listed in the project description are French and English, however, I think this kind of project could work in just about any language setting.

There is an option menu on each screen for listening, speaking, and reading practice, as well as a quiz for students to check their comprehension. Some languages also feature a Grammar and Readings section for more advanced learners.
