Annual report on education technology developments

Neil, thank you for sharing this resource. I am sure that other participants will find it useful in their studies. For me and having in mind my background I can see movement to "Data-Driven Learning and Assessment" and "Learning Analytics" as something happening in Aviation Safety already. There the intention is to be as proactive and hopefully predictive as possible. How about here?

A well-presented and clear guide for anyone needed a frame work to help them plan blended learning courses. This guide has provided me with questions to answer during the planning of my final project.

This report has been developed as part of our research project Flexible Pedagogies: preparing for the future. Technology-enhanced learning is one of five main focus strands embedded within the theme of flexible learning. It offers a summary and analysis of the current state of play, as well as recommendations for developing robust and appropriate flexible pedagogies with a view to influencing policy, future thinking and change within the rapidly-shifting landscape of learning and teaching in HE.

January 2014 HEA report

A new report fropm the Higher Education Academy

Queen Mary carried out a useful survey on their students' experience of their Moodle VLE in 2012/13. This report is very detailed and thorough. It covers many similar issues to those we have faced at City University and many of the learning points and recommendations are relevant to us.

The purpose of this report is to examine the latest issues and trends in course evaluation. In-depth interviews have been conducted with 10 senior academics and student representatives to draw out a general sense of how universities are currently approaching the 'process' of student surveys, and what improvements need to be made to gain more effective student feedback on courses and lecturer

Warwick University - Evaluation Cookbook LTDI Gives descriptions of methods that can be used to evaluate the use of learning technology in higher education. Includes"recipes" for different evaluation methods and useful information for planning, running and reporting on your evaluation. .
