Today you will choose one character to write about from your reading last night. Describe the character's physical and emotional traits. Do you like the character? Why or why not? What role does the character play in the story? Be sure to use everything you know about good writing.

In this post we will continue our collection of figurative language examples. Be sure to include the page number. If you are quoting the example, be sure to place the exact words of the author in quotation marks. Using your best writing, tell us why you chose the example and what type of figurative language the example represents.

This book has beautiful examples of figurative language. Share two examples from Chapters 1 - 3. Explain what type of figurative language examples you have shared. Also explain why you chose those examples.
