Some examples of figurative language is on #41 when it said "The sun glared down at me "because the way it sounds. Another one is on #32 Fruitless Mountain stood like a shadow, and another one on page thirty two which is the mountain jade green with trees. I liked those two because the way it made me imagine.
Some examples of figurative language is #42 "the water was warm like bath water". I choose it because I like how she described the tempeture. Another example is on #27 " stars above filled the sky like spilled salt on dry seaweed.
Some examples are "like slices from a knife" I chose that because it was the first I noticed and I also like that because she didn't say "cuts" and I don't hear people soy slice much in terms of a knife and that's on page 37.
My first figurative language is a simile on page 28: "The female voice was high and soft, like the wind whistling through the reeds of the water." And my second is on page 32 which is a simile: "Fruitless Mountain stood like a shadow," which is actually personification too.
My first example of figuritave language was Ma made a sound like a shrieking cat.That example was on pg.37 I choose that example because cat's are very loud screamers.The second example was,like a flickering flame on a match.I choose that example because I can almost feel it. That example was on pg.27.My last example of figuritave language was Minli's head was spinning.I choose that example because you're head can not actually spin.That example of figuritive language was on pg.30
Some figurative language I found was on page 35, "Only when the sky lightened to grey and the sun began to peek over the horizon did Minli sit down and rest against a tall tree." I liked it because it reminds me of my cat peeking over the table while I'm eating breakfast.
One example of figurative language is "The village was quietly asleep and the stars above filled the sky like spilled salt on dried seaweed". I liked the example of figurative language because I could imagine it. My second example of figurative language is "The water was warm, like bathwater, and as clear as glass". I liked that example of figurative language because it was described beautifully and it was really easy to imagine.
