As you work with digital material (both in your own preparation and with your students), you will run up against the questions of copyright and fair use more and more. Students are becoming incredibly adept at grabbing and repurposing online material. This can result in powerful and inventive work (after all, there's very little created that is truly original, with no influence from prior works) but can also be a way to avoid original thought.  There's a fine line between copyright infringement and fair use. Not to mention outright plagiarism, of course. And educational use is not necessarily fair use; that's a common misconception.  This is a recording of an ISTE web conference on copyright and fair use. It even includes an original fair use rock song!

Ever heard of AutoCAD? Maya? 3ds Max? Autodesk has some of the best 3D software on the market, and they give it to faculty and students for free. 

Sort of a Rube Goldberg machine builder (read: physics puzzle) for your iOS device. 

This teacher chose to have his students create RSA Animate-style videos as "an easy way to make them visualize their information, make connections, and re-tell their facts in a story that had a very tight story line that flowed.  All skills that would transfer nicely to any traditional essay." He really emphasizes the preparation and planning stages, which is great. He also talks about the process, which is useful.  All said, a great resource.

A great explanation of the power of blended learning, whether or not you think Khan's Academy is the pinnacle of the practice. "Educational technology pioneer Salman Khan maps how online learning tools can help physical classrooms evolve to become hubs for creativity and hands-on experiences, and how Khan Academy and the Discovery Lab summer camp fit into that big picture."

Great resource for learning about Bloom. "There is more than one type of learning. A committee of colleges, led by Benjamin Bloom (1956), identified three domains of educational activities: Cognitive: mental skills (Knowledge) Affective: growth in feelings or emotional areas (Attitude) Psychomotor: manual or physical skills (Skills)"
