Microsoft Office 365, the technology giant's suite of productivity apps for the cloud, made its global debut Tuesday. The cloud-based software places Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Exchange and Lync into the cloud. The product was first introduced last October as Microsoft's way to bring its popular collaboration and productivity products to the web. Office 365 comes with all of the Office Web Apps (Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint), as well as email support and Microsoft Access. Essentially, Microsoft has created one product for all of its cloud-based productivity software.

The aim of Digital Learning Technologies is to provide the students with knowledge and practical experience in the digital technologies in the educational and training environment. This course will: Investigate technological developments influencing education and training; Investigate Online Pedagogy and Tools; Examine Digital Literacy and Networking Technologies; Analyse Social and Ethical Issues.

This platform also allows users to take any useful educational video, not just TED's, and easily create a customized lesson around the video. Users can distribute the lessons, publicly or privately, and track their impact on the world, a class, or an individual student.

According to Google's announcement: "Native Client allows C and C++ code to be seamlessly executed inside the browser with security restrictions similar to JavaScript." The video gives examples of video editing apps where HTML, javascript and CSS could be used for the interface and native code execution for the video processing.
