According to Google's announcement: "Native Client allows C and C++ code to be seamlessly executed inside the browser with security restrictions similar to JavaScript." The video gives examples of video editing apps where HTML, javascript and CSS could be used for the interface and native code execution for the video processing.

This platform also allows users to take any useful educational video, not just TED's, and easily create a customized lesson around the video. Users can distribute the lessons, publicly or privately, and track their impact on the world, a class, or an individual student.

A great, simple website that lets you trim a YouTube video to just the part you want. Simply drag the entry & exit sliders to the relevant part of the video ... & press Chop It. It then gives it a new URL &/or Embed Code. Great for plucking out pertinent snippets from a long lecture.

Okay, so this is good for two reasons: it demonstrates some of the principles of gamification in practice, but also, the little activities she does could be a good icebreaker activity for a learning experience.
