"Use LiveWeb to insert web pages into a PowerPoint slide and refresh the pages real-time during slide show. " e.g. can add a Twitter feed to a slide. Need to have this PPT add-in installed on the computer that is presented from.

A Google site which is full of tutorials on using Google Apps (Google Docs, Google Sites, etc).  I'm sure our team could use these when instructing others in how to use these tools.

Some of these books are available via the QUT Library (both carbon-based & online). Ideas have applications to L&T as well as team meetings/interactions.

Excellent synopsis of the principles of gamification. I particularly liked the game mechanics and exemplars sections - useful for conceptualising how elements of games could work in educational practice.

Showcase and planned to be tool to create and share info graphics. Could be good.. the about movie is nice

TodaysMeet helps you embrace the backchannel and connect with your audience in realtime. Encourage the room to use the live stream to make comments, ask questions. ? Could be a good alternative to Twitter. Doesn't require signup, 'room' can be closed within a couple of hours or days. Could work well with LiveWeb embed in Powerpoint.

EdX is a joint partnership between The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard University to offer online learning to millions of people around the world. EdX will offer Harvard and MIT classes online for free. Through this partnership, the institutions aim to extend their collective reach to build a global community of online learners and to improve education for everyone.

One of the hardest thing with using the iPad in the classroom is finding the time to go through all of the apps in the iTunes Store listed under the education banner. We have started to list some of the apps we've found under each of the Key Learning Areas.
