Summarize: The main points of this website are different for each chapter. Each book chapter has many online activities to help you cement the Spanish into your brain. The purpose of this website is to practice Spanish through a series of different activities; depending on which lesson that you are on there are certain practices that you can do. There are also many topics depending on the lesson that you are working on practicing, for example in lesson 5A: birthdays and families are the two things to study. This lesson is all about teaching people how to talk about specific family members, how old they are and what things you would see/ have at a party. This website includes lots of information on speaking Spanish. If you are interested in culture that I would look elsewhere, but if you have a Realidad's book along with the book codes found in each lesson, than this is a very practical website for studying and practicing your vocabulary. Review and access: Phschool is a super useful source when studying or practicing. There is a test preparation for each lesson and I use it to see if I have understood all the vocab in each chapter. Other sources haven't been as helpful to me, because they don't follow the Realidad's lessons exactly and don't have all the concepts in our chapters. The information given is definitely reliable because it goes along with a Spanish textbook that our Spanish teacher from Spain recommends using to study. I would recommend this website to anyone who is learning Spanish, because it has helped me learn mine. In the beginning of the lesson everything is fairly easy and as you work your way through the practice the Spanish gets harder until you eventually get to the test preparation. Reflect: This source is very helpful and I continue to use it. Each practice takes between 1-10 minutes depending on how fluent you are at your Spanish. This source has helped to direct my studying and practicing so that I have less to do later on and mor

The Chubby Vegetarian - 0 views

I honestly have no idea how I managed to forget posting this blog on here. This blog, by far, is one of my absolute favorites! Not only that, but their cookbook is amazing. The cooking has both modern and traditional aspects, which is great when easing my family into vegetarian and vegan cuisine. I definately suggest this blog to anyone who is thinking about being a vegetarian, but worries about losing some of their favorite foods. Believe me, you won't be!

Activities that can teach you to be old. - 0 views

By far my favorite website while working with the elderly. This site gives a list of activities that have to deal with your senses but as if you're aged. For example: eyes can yellow as you age so this site explains how you could buy swimmer's goggles an color them yellow to show the aged eyes. This site offers the best inside for understanding how different life is for the elders.

This is the website for a company which make, wheels, clay, glaze, kilns, and just about anything you need to make pottery on the wheel and off the wheel. My good friend's family actually owns and runs the company, and I was lucky enough to get a tour of the place. Without Amaco I wouldn't be able to make my art, so i owe them a lot of thanks!

I used this site to find scholarships to apply for. They have a huge PDF file full of potential scholarships to apply for. I found 11 scholarships that I am going to apply for. It also gives you a list of deadlines for the scholarships as well as requirements. The site also helped my family and I understand the financial aid and FAFSA process a little better.

Taliban - 0 views

This article is about how the Taliban is, once again, attacking government buildings in Afghanistan like they do every spring when the weather warms up in the mountains. The reason they do this every spring is to try and regain control of the government of Afghanistan. It is my understanding that their motive is to control the global opium market and ultimate wealth. I believe this is reliable information because it is on the CNN website and they have a good reputation for accurate news. I have learned that the Taliban is very persistent and violent. I can't imagine living in a country where a violent terrorist group is trying to overthrow the government every spring. I feel that must be an unsafe place to live, work, and try and raise a family, and am glad I live in the U.S.

This AFS site gives in-depth cultural information about all of the countries that AFS sends students to. I used it to learn about family life, entertainment, and the customs of Peru, where I will be studying abroad next year. I know that this site is reliable, since it is published by AFS, and I know this organization is very well-established and an expert in the field of cultural study. The information is also pretty non-biased, since even though they are trying to convince you, as a student, to study abroad in this country, they also talk honestly about what might be difficult for foreigners. This site was more helpful to me than the other sites I'd used to learn about what life in Peru might be like next year, since it was written with long-term living in mind, instead of tourism or short volunteer trips. And because this site included small details you might not get from reading a guidebook, such as what dating is like and how to greet people, it made me feel as if I was already in the culture, and I could start to imagine, for the first time, what it would be like to actually live there.

A wonderful organization that seeks to educate tourists about the dangers of volunteering in a foreign country. The primary mission of NGN is to return trafficked 'orphans' to their families, and expose the corruption around many so-called 'orphanages'. This was an eye-opening lesson for me, and one I hope to spread as far as I can.

Reproductive Seasonality in Deer - 0 views

  •
The physiology of reproduction in the deer (family: Cervical) can help us understand their behavior. Deer are seasonal breeders, with males exhibiting "rut" behavior in the early fall during the breeding season. The timing of the breeding season also has implications in survival of young. The reproduction cycle of deer plays a strong role in deer population, management, and many other things that have to do with deer. I have found an article that talks a lot about the reproductive seasonality of deer or reproductive cycle/mating season. The main points of this article are, what is seasonality, seasonality in male deer, seasonality in female deer, seasonality in all species of deer, comparison to domestic animals, and practical implications. The purpose of this site is to provide the proper information so that some one can understand the seasonality of deer. Some issues covered throughout this article are, deer puberty, the estrus cycle, the rut, birthing process, shows the difference in between all species, white tailed deer, mule deer, red deer, reindeer, roe deer, fallow deer, shows different types of estrus, deer and human accidents, and a little bit of deer psychology. This name of this article gives away what it is about which is the reproductive cycle/seasonality of deer. This source is very useful because of all the great information provided. The article included tables, graphs, and diagrams. Compared to other sources I have used this article goes above and beyond other sites/articles I have used. This information is reliable, relevant for my learning, and is also provided by a reliable source. I would definitely recommend this site to anyone, a deer hunter and anyone who wants to know abou the reproductive seasonality of deer. This source was very helpful to me and helped me discover a lot about the reproductive seasonality of deer. It has helped me direct my learning by making me want to know more about deer in general. Someone could use this source for
