The purpose of this website is to spread awareness and educate people on environmental issues. WWF also is an environmental conservation program that has offices all around the world. Many topics are covered on this website; for example, deforestation and the causes and impacts of this issue. I did a lot of my research for a big deforestation paper on this website. It was very efficient and useful, also containing many great articles with tons of information. This websites gives great statistics and facts, which is why I would recommend this source. I think it has really changed my thinking and understanding of the topic deforestation for the better because I am now educated on this topic as well as aware of the many impacts in can have on our earth.

This site is great if you want to stay updated on all of the environmental projects that Vermont is taking on as a state. I used this site a lot for my climate change class because it helps me stay up to date on all of the environmental issues in VT.

There are pictures of the cycles that relate to the reading. Review and access: This is a wonderful source because it includes all the different nutrient cycles as well as pictures and writing. It also brings up many concepts: bio magnification, the different roles of an organism and human vs. natural food chain. This website doesn't go in depth in a specific part of ecology, but is instead a basic and broad overview of the whole thing. Most websites either only talk about food chains or nutrient cycles, yet this website includes it all. This website is reliable, because I have compared it to other websites and classwork. I would recommend using this website when learning basic ecology or just refreshing your mind because a lot of simple concepts are mentioned. This article won't take long to read, because everything is pretty broad. Reflect: This source was helpful for me when refreshing my knowledge on the water cycle and learning about the oxygen and nitrogen cycle. I have used this site as a notes resource for the ecology unit in my biology class. This site has helped me to better understand the different cycles, the movement of energy through an ecosystem and food chains vs. food webs. ~Riley

This site was and still is a very helpful site for me while I was completing my environmental project in global. It describes what acid rain is as well as how it effects environment. It also refers to the specific country of Sweden which is the county in which I was studying the impact of acid rain on the lakes and rivers. This sites was my most informational and gave me most of my data for the project.

Two entrepreneurs are making waves by creating skateboards out of fishing nets discarded in the waters off Chile around 640,000 fishing nets clog up the oceans around us and that is only a 1/10th of the garbage. Many many people helped by picking up trash and donating money towards this. they took fishing nets and made them into plastic beeds and were created as a mold for a longboard and they sold out very quickly because these boards if they keep being made it could put a big helpful environmental impact around us!
